Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

I used pedestals, 1 block up, then placed the spawns on-top of the blocks. that should work!

Posted Mar 21, 2013Changing permissions and changing the way you do the arena boards really fucked things up, people can now spectate even though I have negated the permission , the sign boards do not save I had to set 1 - 10 all separately and they worked at first but now don't I have to keep re doing them.... ,
Can you please add the ability to set 1 board for multiple arena signs and keep the current new command for setting arena boards separately.

Posted Mar 20, 2013The permissions won't work. ONLY Op's are able to join arenas with signs or with the /sg join # command. Even the owner with all permissions for him being enabled is not able to join if he is not Opped. I have the commands "- sg.arena.join.* ; - sg.arena.lobby" and all the other sg commands set in my Groupmanager groups as a permission but without Op that group or any higher group is still unable to join the lobby/games.

Posted Mar 20, 2013And can anyone help me with a problem ive been having for a little over a month? When players join, The plugin is kind of glitched so all it really does is tp's them. It shows a countdown and stuff, But thats it. you can walk around before it starts, The chests don't re-stock, And its just plainly messed up :p
i havent really tried fixing it too much, But it's been broken for a little over a month, So its obiously not because 1.5...

If the arena is in a difrent world, Try disabling factions in that world in the factions config, If not... I have no idea :p

Your comment made absolutely no sense. it's one of the only hunger games plugins that actually work, And if you look at the "Last updated" part, It says march 9'th. Plus, If you look carefully enough, You might notice all hunger game servers, Use survival games!
Now please, Don't post comments if it makes absolutely no sense.

Posted Mar 20, 2013I've out all these permissions nodes in, but it still says no permission when clicking the signs - sg.arenas.join.1 - sg.arenas.join.2 - sg.arenas.join.3 - sg.arenas.join.4 - sg.arenas.join.5 - sg.arenas.join.6 - sg.arena.join.* EDIT: none of sg perms are working

Posted Mar 20, 2013I am also unable to get any non OP players to join. No permission is the error, on both 0.4.11 and 0.5.0.
I am also getting errors when it tries to update, and also the "77" spam in console.

The author is just waiting till craftbukkit releases a stable build right now it's in Beta (but 1.5) the author will update the plugin when craftbukkit comes out w/ a 1.5 recommended build. I sure.

Posted Mar 19, 2013I know you say that the error 77 does no harm or cause lag but with 890,763 lines in 18 hours my log went from 2 meg to over 35 meg. This will cause lag. Can this please be fixed asap. I have to remove this plugin until it is fixed. Server log averaging 30,000 lines perday now almost 1,000,000 lines is way too much.. Thanks for the work, its a great plugin but this is too much. Please keep up the good work.
