Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements

Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.

WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.

Conflicts

Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

/sg setlobbywall was changed to /sg addwall <arena> in versions 0.5.0 and above!

New Permissions:

If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:

sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
sg.arena.join
sg.player.vote
sg.lobby.join

Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

How exactly do I get kits working? They were fine in 0.5.6, you were prompted with the kit screen when joining an arena, but now nothing happens.

Thanks. Do you think downloading the latest build would be advisable? I definitely want some of the new features, but are there any errors that take away from downloading the new dev build?

I've just tested this repeatedly:

if you touch messages.yml and change them, it suddenly can't connect to a server and disables the plugin

I'm too lazy to figure out how to compile the source code... I want to make a couple simple changes... text colors on the lobby walls... I wanted to make them cyan and bright red... customizable colors in the config would be super cool :-) or a quick "howto" on eclipse, java, and source recompiling... thatd be cool too :-)

Hello all, I remember in the 0.5.0 builds, where when one would spectate an sg arena, it would cause many issues, make them invisible to the rest of the server, unable to leave the world - many things went wrong. How is the spectating now?

Gave players permission to /sg vote, but yet, they cannot vote. Only OP's can. That is frustrating as i can't be the one who constantly have to start the game. Any help here?

Replace permission sg.arenas.join.<arena#> BY sg.arena.join.<arena#>

Just delete "S" for "arenas" and work :)

I found two bugs. Running latest sg dev and spigot. First: I disabled check update in config but when I save and restart the server. Sg will check for an update.

Hey, I work for a server, and we tried to use this plugin, but after I created an arena, with /sg create <name> with the given cords, the plugin only gave error, see console afterwards. The ground was locked from being built upon as the plugin was supposed to do I think, but I could not remove the arena, I only received errors.
