Survival Games
Survival Games is a plugin that has the aim of creating a fully automated hunger games style experience. The plugin was created to be simple to use, and to be easily setup on any type of server, no matter the size or type! Survival Games provides a way for your server to have a full fledged, fully automated hunger games experience for any player. Requirements
Before installing this plugin, a few things are required.
- WorldEdit- Needed to create arenas.
- MySQL Database (optional) - If you wish to use stats, you must have an SQL database.
Conflicts
- Any plugin that modifies damage amounts by applying more damage can sometimes cause issues and make the player actually die (ie McMMO).
- Some locking plugins such as LWC have been reported to have issues with the lobby signs, but should work normally if protection is turned of for those signs.
- WORLD PORTAL will make this plugin completely break if the lobby is not in a world that is loaded at start!

New Permissions:
If you have for example 6 arenas, and you want every player to be able to join all arenas, give each rank the following permissions:
- sg.arena.join.<arena#> (Replace <arena#> with the arena number.)
- sg.arena.join
- sg.player.vote
- sg.lobby.join
Note: Devs and important people of this plugin have colored names on lobby signs

Haha, I agree, it's hilarious... I've only had a server for over a year but what would I know about installing simple plugins. The issue is that the dev doesn't even list the permissions correctly. If you notice on the perms list he provided on the main page, one of them is incorrect. I'm using the latest dev version along with 1.5.2 R1 bukkit. What permissions did you add? That would be more helpful than you listing what's on your lame server. I added the permissions provided and it doesn't work, the config hasn't been touched, and this is on a server I specifically opened up for this plugin so that nothing else interferes with it, so now you tell me what I'm doing wrong Captain Plugin Expert.

I have it running perfectly fine at play.bestsurvivalgames.com
There are 4 arenas, a couple basic kits, etc. The arenas are minable, and auto-regen. I'm using one of the Dev builds...and only had to add the standard, basic permission sets. It works beautifully... post the config files here so we can check them out. A basic "It doesn't work" means nothing unless other users of the plugin can analyse what you have set up.
The whole "I have it set up right, but it doesn't work" is funny to me... because you obviously DON'T have it set up right!

Here's the permissions I used:
- sg.player.*
- sg.arena.join
- sg.arena.join.*
- sg.arena.vote
- sg.lobby.join
- automessage.receive.default

Normal players and Donators cannot join arena ( OP can use commands and are only ones who can get in to the arena )
/sg forcestart is not working, gives error http://pastebin.com/YTf4KzFK
/sg vote tells [Error] error.notinarena Do not know how to fix.
/sg lq or /sg leavequeue is still not working, no error in console when typing this. Nothing just happens.
/sg spectate that only running game can be spectated, have not been able to start one so not sure if this one works(?)

Make seperate permission for the hg world I.E use Group Manager plugin or you can make a another server just for hg and make a server network using BungeeCord.

Posted May 19, 2013Those having perms problems this may or may not help, These are the perms i found that worked for me for players to join, play and vote etc.
- sg.player.* - sg.arena.join - sg.arena.vote - sg.arena.spectate - sg.lobby.join
