What does it do?
Ever got bored standing behind a wall of glass waiting for the next game to start? Or if you're a server owner, do you dread the question "Can I have creative so I can spectate?"
Yep, I've been there too. That's why I made this plugin! When you die and are out of the game, just do /spec on and you will be given flight and a window will open letting you teleport to other players still in the game. But here's the great bit! Players still in the game can't see you, and you can't interact with the world (cause damage, break or place blocks, etc). When you're finished just do /spec off to be teleported back to spawn. Simple!
Any requirements?
If you don't have a plugin with a /spawn command on your server, you need to set up a spectator lobby to make sure players are teleported back to spawn afterwards (see setup section).
Can I get development builds?

Well, I managed it! The new version will be out soon, I've submitted it to BukkitDev, the staff need to approve it ( in case it's malicious - although it's not :) ) so ETA tomorrow probably for the public.

I've finished going through all the reported bugs below but I want to add "spectate on death" (@KingKaiTheElite asked for this) and some other new features (toggles for compass, etc).

I will once any bugs in the plugin are dealt with - I'm hoping that will be in the next version (S1.8) which I'm working on currently, so you can expect an arrow blocking fix, possibly, in SpectatorPlus 1.9!

Posted Feb 6, 2014Umm.... what do you mean by f3? Do you mean to just click f3 while looking at the block or hover over it or... what do I do? Just wait until I interact with the block until it gets the out line or what? Hope you get the new dev out!

You may have... Use f3 to get the corner of the arena with the highest co-ordinates. Point 2 uses the lowest co-ordinates. Otherwise it won't work right. This is the next thing on my to-do list to fix, so don't worry if you can't get it working!

Posted Feb 2, 2014Hey when I set up the lobby and the arena perfectly and it works, I get a clock and go to my arena lobby. ALL GOOD SO FAR. Then I open up the compass to teleport to players, and there are no players the compass selection. The player is in the arena playing and I can spectate him? Did I do something wrong?

Ok I just hope it works as tonight I discovered a bug with teleporting to players in my dev build of 1.8 which may have existed in 1.7, where it says everyone is spectating even if the aren't. Another thing that needs fixing... :(

Posted Jan 30, 2014That sounds GREAT! I`ll get the review going once the new version is out! and by the way can you make a way to disble the teleportion when you click the clock maybe in the config?... is there a way to disable teleportation and get annoying messages.... thanks that`s it for now!

Sorry, I meant the new version has been uploaded by me - but you can't download it until it's checked by BukkitDev staff. That will probably be tomorrow or shortly after that.
In it I've fixed the /spec arena lobby command and added spectator-only chat. Hope you like it!
About a video review, I'd love that. I'd add it to this page if you made one, uploaded it and sent me a link. I'm planning to make one myself eventually but that could take a while.

SpectatorPlus S1.7 is awaiting approval. It fixes both these problems :)
