Smooth Flight

Table of Contents

A simple flight plugin for all users on a server

Details:

If you are holding a feather and hold right click, you will fly in the direction you are facing.

The longer you fly, the hungrier you get.

Features:

Normal Flight (right click with feather)
Slow Flight (sneak and right click with feather)
Hover (left click with feather)
Smoke Trail
Variable hunger toll

Configuration:

tool should be set to an item on this list:

You should just let this be activated on all worlds if per-world permissions are available. Or put this as an option to activate on all worlds.

Also please add a config reload command.

Updated to 1.4.6, I fixed your issue Joymo. Also had some logical errors in the flight check that have been fixed.

Hi, i have use the mode on my server, the Configuration doesn´t work, i have write my world into the configuration file and it doesn´t taken.

Have anyone a idea why it doesn´t work? on my Server is the Bukkit version: 2317 1.3.1 R-1.0

i love the fact that is has max and min height. in 1.2.5 it worked like a charm. but using 3.0 on 1.3.1 allows them to fly as high as they want. great mod though!

Could you add a permission node that ignores the worlds setting, or perhaps better, a config flag that disables it? Have a lot of worlds, permissions work just fine for managing that, the world setting is kinda redundant :S

Have you tried using Essentials, giving people essentials.fly then they can use creative style flying, no hunger, and no fall damage, simply using /fly. Also a mode standalone plugin is http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/flight/

Noticed that in latest version players seem to drop flying after a while, and once it cancels on them they can't fly again until they relog. This is with 3.0. I am going to attempt using 2.5.

hi, I download the 3.0 version and found that my players (including op) can not fly in water, but fly in lava is OK.

If fly is set in the config file, you will fly in the dream land, regardless of permissions or op status. What version of smoothflight are you using?

Do you see:

Smoothflight is out of date, this version is incompatible with dreamland

or

To fly in dreamland, Smoothflight must be enabled

in the log file?
