    What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. Use mysql to save votes
    2. don't use any of the functions until the driver close the connection
    3. use a function which requires msysql
    4. get an error

    What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

    What version of the product are you using?
    SimpleVoteSystem Version 1.6

    Do you have an error log of what happened?
