    Personally i think it would be a great thing to have the plugin able to backup to an offsite you specify. Or move them for the purpose of this. So that only the last 2 days or so are in there.

    I am sure compression of them is not possible but overall the offsite backup would be nice.

    This should work with 1.7 but updating is never bad.
