ShowCaseStandalone is like ShowCase but without the dependancies, and a more efficient way to create shops. With SCS, you can buy, sell, and display items, which float above blocks. You can use most of the major economy and permissions plugins with this, along with some special options for Towny.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Metric
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Nov 7, 2012When I turn displaymaxsize or whatever to false, to fix the displays displaying a stack of the item, no items appear. Any way to fix this?

Ok. I don't think that there are ways to make it smaller,
but thanks for the tip, I´ll have an eye on it for the next build ;)

You can use mysql. You just have to change the database type to "sql_scs" (to load
the sql config out of the scs-config-file) or "sql_bukkit" (to use the bukkit sql config).
@joshuatetlys @Yandols It almost works. Some people are reporting bugs with signs - then you have to disable
the sign feature in the config.

Floating items here and there, not sure why. Not interactable, can't pick them up, and they aren't on slabs/displays.

Posted Nov 6, 2012This plugin does work with 1.4.2, although I have just noticed the following error: "Task #25 for ShowCaseStandalone v1.16 generated an exception java.lang.NullPointerException"

Most of my showcase items are showing, although some are not.. I was having some issues earlier with going over my alloted hdd space, although it has been fixed, would this have anything to do with it?
EDIT - FIXED, had to delete some files that were likely incorrectly written.

sure the 400kb isn't anything big, I'm just talking in comparison to many other bukkit plugins,
Anyway I asked because I heard another dev talk about just doing a version that only display items with none of the shop stuff, wondered if anyone knew where it was... I've use this for ages and never use the shop stuff as I leave it to chestshop so thats why I ask.

All you have to do if it says "You cannot create in protected regions" is go into the config and change:
allowInWilderness: false
to
allowInWilderness: true

It would cause a lot more trouble to fix every bug twice and keep two plugins up to date.
Also 400KB == 0.4MB == 0.00004GB, which I think isn't a problem at all ;)

Posted Nov 3, 2012In the newest version, it won't allow me to create a shop in a region that players owned. The previous version allowed me to set scs in regions that players owned and could not set scs in regions that they don't own. It works fine in towny worlds, but that's not what I wanted. It keeps saying "You cannot create in protected regions" whenever I try to do so with the new scs. Hopefully you can fix this soon :)

Posted Nov 3, 2012Ok, thank you - But, I think there might be a bug with /scs display. When someone right clicks, on the block a display is on, it writes over the sign with something like this:
"SilverKytten
DISPLAY
inv: 0
sell: 0"
And creates a shop, with an inventory. If needed, I can take screenshots, to better show you what I mean.
