Skill points can be cheated, using the players.yml config in your Temp folder. These will give you a level for free BUT, this is bugged in 1.2 and will not work as intended. you need to click the button above the actual skill you want to increase.
Atm the levels without unlocks/ability's are just for fun, nothing more. These unlocks/ability's will be added but this needs some time

that's because I didn't add rotation to anvils yet.
that's a weird bug, it should just make chains. I will try to figure out why that happens... I think its a spout bug.
its not really an issue, in 1.3 you need to use /stop for my plugin too, else it remove stuff on server stop. The reason spout does that is because if they save all the block data each time, it will cause a LOT of lag. what spout does is save the blocks per region. the same way as mc saves the data. a region is about 16*16 chunks

the swords do custom damage (can be defined in the config for all tools)
about wands: snow wand is to edit height of snow, not to throw snoballs (yet?)
spawner wand does nothing yet, still needs a gui to edit the spawners (planning on adding it in 1.3)
npc wand: this is only, to select npcs
the spend function, I've explained this 1 page back

I know about the trout issue, this is a bug I need to make a workaround for.
How it works atm: is the item flint? -yes> is the customitemId the same as the durability? -yes> get block/item from custom furnace recipes -> if has recipe -> cook to custom item/block

I can fix this by adding a check so it won't cook to cave trout but there still will be a problem with bukkit: you can't cancel the cook event... -.-'
there is no recipe list yet, we are working on better documentation, please be patient.
customs stores are available in this version BUT the gui WON'T work. This will be functional in 1.3 (see progress post)
I don't want to add custom items until I've came up with a workaround to fix/add durability and strength modifiers.
I will add more unlockables in every version from now on, 1.3 will contain better handeling, better exp values and smithing unlockables.
I would love to, but I'm working very hard on my server/RPGE atm

Posted Jun 29, 2012Thx you i'll double check the server updates and what not. When I get home for the correct version. See the wand i had backwards. can you give me an over viwe of usage and function with them.
Also is thier a craft page site that i can link player to in order to see all the new craftable patterns. Or How to farm any item(like cheese).
The last question i have is the same as Sheeps... the spend fucntion on the lvl screen.

There is a problem with the anvils, they can only place correctly if you place them facing north (maybe a problem with the new rotation method?)
Also I am having the same issue with crafting chains.
But after stopping the server with the /stop command then relaunching the server all my safes/registers/anvils are all still there.
If spout has taught me one thing, its never to use /restart or /reload. Spout just messes up after doing that. (most plugins have their own /reload commands so you can update settings without having to restart the server)

Just quickly jumped on my server and had a play, I used a Adamantine and Verdite swords and each are doing the correct damage but I also noticed that the weapons don't take durability damage. I smelted cave trout into cooked cave trout and iridium ore into iridium ingots without a problem.
I am using the "Latest" version of Spoutcraft (version: 1534), Spout plugin version: 1202 and Bukkit 1.2.5-R4.0

Sorry Themalkav, I didn't want to waste space with a I don't know reply. I'm not sure what the current state of custom weapons/tools are (so far I've been focusing on custom blocks and editing in my own non tool/weapon items). The wands worked when I tested them last night, I used the NPC wand to select different NPCs to apply quests and what not.
When restarting the server make sure you use the stop command in the server console, otherwise custom blocks will not save correctly (I believe this is a spout issue).
I remember seeing the smelting trout issue a while ago, off the top of my head I think it was to do with using the wrong versions of spout plugin, Make sure you are using the correct spout plugin and spoutcraft versions (this could be the solution to all your problems).

Posted Jun 28, 2012Ok so few bugs:
-Anvils glitch into glass blocks and glitches game until you exit. No smithing :( -Vaults and registers become glass blocks if you restart server. -None of the new ore type swords do anything and right-click doesnt work. -When you make a chain it crashes game and kicks you from server "Internal Server Error" -The quest text is all messed up, limits your quest text severely to fit into that small box. -Needs ARMOR for new ore types as well (not a bug but hey why not ;D)
Great plugin but so far these bugs are annoying the heck outta us.

Also if you use essentials, their /give or /item or /i has a file that correlates item names to item id numbers. it is called items.csv If you add the correct item number and meta data, you should be able to /give the items

Ahh okay man thanks! I figured out creative mode was the only viable way so far until I make recipes (which really can't be THAT hard...right? ;) ) Thanks for the help guys I think I got it aaalllmmmooosssttt set up.
Oh um one more thing real quick ok:
Can I add new "skills"? There's this gun plugin and I wanted to add a Gun skill of some kind you know? Probably can't do that haha but worth a shot!
