Posted Jul 28, 2012I can't get the plugin totally separate from my other worlds. i.e. I run Creative, Survival, PvP, and RPG. But my PvP users can't use their diamond swords because of the RPG world. Also, some items in the shop sell for 0 even though the config says they should sell for 5.

That idea for spells would work, I was thinking of the same sort of thing, but instead of holding energy or the actual spell effect in your hand, the caster holds a tome. You could have blank tomes, much like books, and use a similar method as enchanting a weapon. Create a new spell enchanting table, you place a empty tome on the table along with a combining material to create the different desired spell types.

A calculation of the grade of the combining material by the users current alchemy level (with a slight random influence) to determent what grade of spell/tome is created.
Furthermore, allowing some (if not all) weapons to be used as tomes, allowing on hit spells and effects (eg: chance to have lightning strike your target)

Posted Jul 28, 2012Sorry, I keep posting suggestions when you have a whole to-do list, which is quite long. I'll focus my time on testing and reporting any bugs I find. I dont want to overwhelm you ^_^
Have you thought of getting help with this plugin? It has SO much potential, it would go faster with more devs. I get it if you want to keep it all on you though.

There is a known problem with xp that if you don't use worldguard, attack , ranged and defence don't work, I will fix this in the nex build. There is a spout bug with GUis. If you use the close button the GUI doesn't close properly, that could be the cuase that there is a secret piece of code that I have to implement or just something in the spout api. I will talk to them about this. To close it propperly, you have to use the escape button.

My plugin has nothing to do with lag spikes on your pc, again this is something spout related and go complain to them(on irc(google spout irc) or at there forums) they always tell the same to people with an intel graphics card: We don't support them, becuase they suck

Posted Jul 27, 2012I know this is a dev build but i have noticed that it is still 8-12fps when i log in on spoutcraft.It cant be the texture pack because i click on players choice.Not sure what it is :-/

Posted Jul 26, 2012guys don't forget that this plugin is a development build, and is NOT intended for public access right now. There are a multitude of features that are not configurable and lead to headaches for admins.
1)Don't use the development build on public servers, its just a bad idea.
2)Stop asking for a particular feature to be finished, there are a thousand people waiting on this build and all of them want something a little different, it just wouldn't be fair.
In the meantime, while duck is off quacking in the pond, I will be here to try and help with any questions any of you may have. I have been using RPGe since the first stable releases and have two servers that depend on them in totally different ways.

We also noticed, that woodcutters after leveling up, cannot use the higher level tools. A level 25 woodcutter still can't use a stone axe? I know your going on vacation but if you can get this sorted out it would be awesome. Thanks! -Danny

I dont know about the "not giving xp" thing. But I know the enchantment thing has nothing to do with RPGessentials. My PvP server doesn't have any strand of this plugin, and it still happens on there. Perhaps its a bukkit issue?

First go to the RPGessentials folder, then to textures.yml. You should see something that looks like this:

The words in bold are the name of the texture pack that the player will see. The italicized words are links to the actual texture pack. You need an FTP or a virtual server to host/hold the texture packs. Once you have that, just put the link of the texture pack in the URL, then if you want the texture pack to have an icon, put the link of the icon in the ICONURL. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need something explained futher.

Okay I have the cape thing figured out, but sometimes when people craft stuff it has the enchantment color but no enchantment. At random times xp is not given and people can't open the GUI. Any ideas?
