Compatibility:
The plugin should be compatible with server version 1.13(.1).
Except for Curses it is compatible with version 1.12 and 1.11.
Any other version may or may not work.

Update Checker
This plugin is using an update checker. It will not download or install any files.
If you like to disable this function, go into the config.yml and set 'enable-update-check' to false.

Posted May 16, 2013You should change your NPC system around so that you can have multiple NPCs with the same name. This is extremely useful for creating guards, so for example I can spawn a bunch of npcs named Spawn_Sentry that all have a guard looking skin and have a standard name to let players know they are just guards.

I mean to only allow leveling up, use of economy, use of skills in one world etc. For example I wouldn't want people breaking blocks in the creative world and gaining easy exp to level up their skills & classes, that would give certain players an unfair advantage when they fight people in the PvP world.

Thanks for reply, everything about this plugin is just brilliant (:! I can't wait for guilds, and the dueling sounds pretty cool.
One last question; Is the plugin configurable to one world or will I have to sort that out myself using permissions?

Posted May 15, 2013Yeah Nice idea ! No that don't works without Spout beacause its clientside. You can only name a npc like a Player And he will Take the Skin of the Player. You could ask the developers of craftbukkit to implement a Way to change Skin of NPCs.

Posted May 15, 2013Yeah that sounds great, I think you should make it so Guards can die but keep the health they have configurable like their damage. One other thing, is it possible to change the skin of NPC's without using Spout or something similar?

Thanks :) So the skills have a cool-down time which is not configurable. The time only depends on the level of the player.
I try to implement the basics of a guild system in two weeks.
Friends and Duels is a little extension to the pvp system. You can add a player as a friend and if you did this you can only fight with him in a duel. (If a server has pvp disabled it is like every player is your friend) And you can start a duel about a command e.g. /duel PlayerB. Then PlayerB gets a message and he has to accept the duel with the same command /duel PlayerA. Now pvp is enabled for them and they can start a little duel. I also thought about a multiworld option that both participants are teleported in a extra duel world. (At any rate this will be a feature of guilds ...like guild war)

Question 1: Do the skills have cool-down times? If so, are they configurable? Question 2: When do you plan to implement guilds? Guilds are the last feature I am waiting for before adding the plugin to my own server. Question 3: You've mentioned friends & duels on your to-do-list, could you expand further on that?

This feature will come with guilds. Then you can add a guard to a guild and he will automatically attack every member of a enemy clan.
Now the guard only attacks when a player attacks him first. I think I will also change the fact that a guard can't die.

Posted May 15, 2013Il fiddle with NoCheatPlus and try get it working, is it possible to make Guards only attack a certain class of players for example my server has several spawns for different Classes Nords, Dwarves etc I've set guards in each spawn but only want them to attack the races that shouldn't be in a certain area i.e Dwarves in the Nords spawn

I don't know if that is possible , did you try it ? Because normally npc can be treated like normal players (in the most cases).

What do you actually mean with "dialogue" ? There are some "standard" dialogues for Teleporters , Traders. You can edit the messages which a quester sends to players. I will add you on skype so you can show me what you mean ;)

Posted May 14, 2013So let me get this strait.. This plugin makes NPC's and quests along with rewards. And does it have a dialogue where you can talk to the NPC's? If not then that is the only thing that's stopping me from using this in my server. And also have NPC's do actions such as walk around or move. Almost like using Denizens and Citizens together. If you can do that then I will worship this plugin :) For more suggestions if you want to add me on skype I can give you more ideas and suggestions :)

Posted May 14, 2013Amazing RPG plugin has made my server so much better, one small issue though. No Cheat Plus blocks NPC's from doing any damage and I can't exempt them as there not actually players. Any suggestions?

That's a really really cool plugin! Exactly what I was looking for! But I have one question. Can you add chainquests? So when someone completes a quest, and only then he should be able to get a new quest. And can you add other quest types? e.g. quests where you have to bring items to other npcs or where you have to reach a certain level.

Nice to hear ! :) The default config file is just a helping tool for you guys that you can see what I changed at the config.yml but I will also write all new changes in the config into the changelog !

I got home late last night so I tested the plugin today and I didnt really find any issues. only a question. Does the defaultConfig have any effect to the game or is it just a helping tool?
