Posted Oct 5, 2013I think a Banker npc would be fantastic!
It would be perfect for those (me) that use emeralds as money.

Well thanks!
I've been told that lol.
Actually... I just spent around 30 mins making a rename plugin just for emeralds. I made them say Rupees in green....
but then I found ItemRenamer plugin lol.... sigh.... wish I had found that before I made this plugin tonight.
Actually.... I wouldn't mind forking this tiny piece of code to the repo lol

Those are all amazing ideas, and you're right. This plugin has a lot of potential to it and that's why I volunteered to help test the plugin to help break/fix things, as well as bring up a feature I think would be an asset.

I don't have enough time for GUI things but I always liked this idea !
If you want to you can post your code at github ;)

Lol.. That makes sense now xD
As for the default NPC. Quester seems perfectly fine to me. Cause if all you want is a normal NPC that does nothing, then a quester NPC would be perfect. Cause it will do nothing until you add a quest.
I was just implying to the /npc create blahblah quester. Quester is not needed on the end of the command.
Sorry if I am blowing up your tickets lol.
I have had my eye on the plugin for over a year now.... but it never seemed to be strong or stable enough for me to care to use it.
Now..... I just really and genuinely want to help you get all the bugs out.
But man... an API would be brilliant! I would LOVE to make this plugin more GUI friendly and less annoying commands.
Maybe one night, we can schedule a meeting and I can show you some of the GUI plugins I have made. They are all private and NONE of them have even been thought of yet xD
I mean... there is SOOOO much potential for this plugin to really shine if some chest gui's were added.
Example: Right click a class priest, a chest gui pops up. Shows you ALL of the skills for your class and which one you can 'train' for. Then you would just click on one of the items for training, and if you're the correct level, you learn it!
Example 2: Visit a 'Traits' npc or make a duel menu for a class priest. In the traits gui, your amount of trait points are shown as a stack item by the amount of points you have. Then you just simply click each trait to add them to it. Each click would subtract from the item that shows how many trait points you have.
Dude... I could go allll day long lol.
But... without a source or an API..... all I can do is just request stuff.
EDIT!!!!
I just found your link to the sauce!
Nice... nice nice nice lol. When I get some crazy gui's added, ill invite you to my test server so you can play with them :)

Its already for 2.1 ;)
What npc type should be default instead ? One type has to be default and quester was the first I created.

NPC's are automatically give the trait quester.
I found that to be odd and redundant.
Nevertheless; I just use /npc create blahblahblah and it's automatically a quester.

You first have to create a npc (/npc create <name>) Next you should change the npc type to "quester"
After this you are able to give quests to the npc (/quester add <questname>) Now your players can start the quest by right clicking the quester npc.
enjoy :)

Yes thats one way how to do it. The other way with myRPG is to add a "info" to the race in the races.yml ! I forgot to add that in the wiki ;)

I thought of that... but I came up with a better solution. (for me)
Click a sign, takes them to my web page, explains all of the races and classes.

you could do that yourself with books, we did with massivebooks.. on our server everyone gets the serverbooks which explain everything..

Posted Sep 29, 2013Where in the config can I allow players to change their race?
Also, it would be nice for it to tell you the perks of that race or class before joining.
