Compatibility:
The plugin should be compatible with server version 1.13(.1).
Except for Curses it is compatible with version 1.12 and 1.11.
Any other version may or may not work.
If you like to help me with this project do at least two of these things:

Update Checker
This plugin is using an update checker. It will not download or install any files.
If you like to disable this function, go into the config.yml and set 'enable-update-check' to false.

I am the only developer in this project and I am currently developing in slow motion, so it will need some time until you can see some of these features.
I won't stop developing myRPG until I found a successor (is this the right word ???).
@jhicks32917 I don't want myRPG to be dependent on some other plugins. I can add all features you need for skills in the future.

It seems like if this MyRPG used the amazing skill creation engine in Skill API you guys could devote time elsewhere as Skill API does...everything.

Yes you can use any armor or tools. There is no max power. The power is added as damage or defense!

Posted Feb 9, 2014In future updates, will it be possible to customize the skills? It would be nice to be able to set the amount of damage dealt by each skill, amount of armor increase, run speed when using magic boots, etc.

and as far as Items go can I put Armor and other tools like Axe, Hoe, Shovel and the Pick there too :)

Posted Feb 6, 2014I just set down to configure this plugin for our Bukkit Server... and found something... well didn't find something rather... for me to properly configure the "Experience/Money" values it would be helpful to know what the ranking values are... so as to keep values balanced...
basically... how much exp is needed to gain level 1
Lvl 1 - xxx exp Lvl 2 - xxxx exp Lvl 3 - xxxxx exp ...
Coming from a D&D background 2 things I could see needed here....
for the moment if you could just the the hard coded levels that would be great...
Also as this is will be the entire Survival Server on our system some sort of land management, raid/grief protection would be great :)
Once again thanx for this awesome plugin... Donation coming on the 19th :)

Posted Feb 5, 2014I really enjoy using this plugin on my server, but I thought I should mention a few things:
1) Bug: when giving traders, say, a diamond sword, and then right after, giving them an enchanted diamond sword, the enchanted one overrides the first normal one. This means the trader cannot distinguish between non-enchanted items and enchanted items since they have the same item ID.
2) Bug: guards do not return to their initial placement/path once they attack something that comes in their radius. Instead, they just stand there.
3) Small chat issue: when NPCs chat to players, the first quote in what they say is not the same color as the end one.
4) Suggestion: would it be possible to add in teleport items (that we can choose in the config)? Example would be, perhaps, an emerald, that when right-clicked, opens a GUI (similar to how the plugin CompassNavigation works) and certain icons appear that can teleport players to certain locations (defined in config). Once the player has teleported, we could delete the emerald from their inventory or charge them currency (again, config option).

If you delete this line (only the blank "npc-name: '') nothing will happen. If you delete this line when there is a number behind it your quest cannot be found in the game!
I will upload the skeleton fix (2.1.13) at Thursday.

Posted Feb 4, 2014Hello once more, still excited for the next update!
In the meantime however, I would like to report a bug (of sorts). I am not sure if this can be configured or not, but I haven't quite found it. When you level up enough times, your defense starts to go up immensely, eventually, you can barely even get hurt by mobs, and players, with only a defense of 20 cannot take punch damage from other players. I love the idea of defense, but it would be good if you didn't gain attack and defense with every level, rather you used your skill points on them, or maybe make it configurable in the config. I like the idea of maybe not being able to get hurt with punches, but its annoying when everyone has it. So maybe take away the leveling up of defense and attack when you level up. I'd rather use my skill points on them. Thank you so much for your time, and have a nice day :)
