RightOnSpawn
RightOnSpawn - V1.2
RightOnSpawn
A very light weight plugin to help you with your spawn problems! So, if you are always spawning on a roof, install this plugin, run /setspawn and you will never spawn on a roof again.
Commands
There are 2 commands
/setspawn (-m) - Sets your servers spawn. -m Sets the main spawn (for all new comers)
/spawn (-m) - Teleports you to the spawn set with /setspawn. -m Teleports you to the main spawn.
Permissions
RightOn.spawn.set - Allows you to set the spawn.
RightOn.spawn.tp - Allows you to teleport to the spawn.
Planned
Give me suggestions!
Please check out my other plugins! WhoIsInBed, HungerArena & BookPress

you know what, i've spent hours and hours with plugins.bukkit.org and dev.bukkit.org and curse.com most downloaded server mods pages.
i found a lot of issue with modern spawn point controller plugins for bukkit.
1.some of them now cannot work with bukkit 1.5.1 r0.1 beta. not updated.
2. some of them only can setup per-world spawn point, that means, normal players can only use /spawn command to do teleportation to spawn point(so it actually is a warp/teleportation, not spawn at all). they cannot control server spawn point(for all new commers) at all.(i.e. those plugins cannot change the player default "server spawn-notch point" to world_nether or world_the_end)
3. most of spawn point controller plugins does not control/change respawn point at all. also cannot chage the death-respawn point to non-overworld positions, e.g. nether_world or world_the_end.
the bukkit command /spawnpoint <username> <coordinates>
is quite limited, e.g. you cannot use it automatically for new comers for an online server, and it cannot catch off-line users. and it also cannot change users' default spawn/death-respawn point to nether_world or world_the_end, and it cannot work with @a parameter,(@a means all users, since minecraft 1.4.x). so, we have to do this with a bukkit plugins.
And for the 3 issues above, your plugins solved 2 of them. it's already been much much better than other common spawnpoint controlling plugins.
so, my feeling is, this plugin got great potentials. hope this plugin could reach curse.com top100 download list.
for now the work-around is, use multiverse-core, the server default death-respawn points can got modified. (but, you know, multiverse2 is little bit big, 1.5MB)
and mcstats.org Statistics can make your plugin more well-known, why not?

Yeah, I don't have the diff group spawnpoints... And I don't handle deaths for spawning. I'll code that later and get it up for you!

Posted Apr 3, 2013does this plugin support mutiple spawn points for different groups of server users? e.g. for normal players, VIPs, server-admins, prisoners, and so on, and each group of users only can spawn to the position of their own. they can't spawn to other groups' spawn positions, does this plugin have this feature?
i thought , this is an interesting feature for a spawn plugin.

found a bug. with version 1.1. tested with spigot 1.5.1build755. if i set the "setspawn -m" spawnpoint to world_nether, after the user's death, he respawns at overworld "spawn notch point"(spawnpoint where default user appears in a world without spawnpoint control plugin). he should respawn at "setspawn -m" point, not overworld. i only have one "setspawn -m" spawnpoint in the config file, i've deleted the other spawnpoints.
same issue with bukkit 1.5.1 r0.1 beta.

Lol, I released a new build an hour and a half before you asked, hasn't been approved, but you might be able to find it in the files tab. I added a cooldown for it there.

Posted Mar 31, 2013Is there a way to add a delay to /spawn? Players in my server are using this to escape PvP.
I have tried adding the delay in Essentials, but it doesn't seem to work.

Just disallow the /spawn command by taking away the perm.

The perm is RightOn.spawn.tp, just give that to everyone using your Permissions plugin. And give admins RightOn.spawn.set but don't give it to your regular people.

Posted Oct 29, 2012I have a question.. I am using PEX to manage my permissions and such. However, even if i dont add the permission to my Newbie members (default). The command is still in there /help. Even though it is not executable. I would still like to remove it from there sight. Is this possible? Very new to this stuff. Sorry if its a simple fix!
