Commands:

/points to show your current points
/points <user> <amount> to give <user> <amount> points
/rewards to show all accessible rewards
/reward <number> to buy the reward with number <number>
/generateredeem <name> <duration in days/ or "once"> to generate a redeem code (alias /genred)
/useredeem <redeemcode> to use a redeem code (once per user, alias /usered)
/rewardme for help
/rewardme convert to convert your old config files
/rewardme update to update the plugin

Signs (v3.3.1+)

Line 1: Got to contain "[RewardMe]", may start with "!" to mark a multi use sign, may end with "!" to mark a free sign (be really sure if you want to use both on the same sign!)
Line 2: Reward name
Line 3: May contain "noperm" to ignore permissions you'd otherwise need
Line 4: Whatever you like, it's your sign after all :3

Example files

Metrics

This plugin sends statistics about the usage to the server http://mcstats.org/. You can disable it by setting "Metrics.Enabled" to false in the config. Refer to the example config file for more information.

Updater

This plugin uses Updater by Gravity. This means that the plugin checks for a new version on this page when it starts. Depending on your configuration, it will notify you and/or download it. To disable this behavior, set "Updater.Enabled" to false in the config.

That's all that seems to be showing up in console :(. I'm running Bukkit 2060, Permsbukkit. I get the in game "Internal error occurred" and that line in last comment pops up in console.

Hello, I love this plugin and I'm very excited about using it on our server. However I can't seem to get it to work, Players aren't getting daily login points and whenever I use the /reward buy command I get an internal error.

[SEVERE] null org.bukkit.command.CommandException: Unhandled exception executing command ' reward ' in plugin RewardMe v2.4

I'm pretty sure I've just somehow done something wrong..

So how would I configure it if I wanted to give a reward for mining 1000 stone?

And if you only use a "say" command in the "reward" then do they only get the announcement? If so, that could be useful for announcing when people mine diamonds.

Sry, forgot to add the features to the list :p

I'll add a delay tomorrow, so far I added unlimited commands per reward (just put a "," between them), console support, custom rewards for killing entitys and for mining blocks. A little example(should be in the config.yml):

KillReward: Enabled: true Sheep: give %USER stone 1, say %USER killed a sheep MiningReward: Enabled: true 1: say %USER mined 1 stone!

Your new 2.4.1 file says more features, but doesn't say what? Really hoping my idea (the 1 hour delay before giving the daily reward) made it onto your list.

So right now you can't give people points via the console? Because I like this plugin, but if I can't use console it it pretty useless for the way I wanted to use it.

This plugin has been working great and I really like it! However, I'm starting to notice my players just logging in for a minute to get their reward but not playing much that day. Is there a way to modify this plugin so that the user has to be online for X many minutes before they get their daily login reward?

You can already do that, just setup the redeem code like you want:

Ohai! Can you add reward code what allows player get: [Member] group and some items. Please make it with GroupManager it would be cool! And also it would make players easier to get they rewards for donating to my server. It would be like: player types in /useredeem <code> when player entered code, plugin will promote him to [Member] group and give him valuable items what i added.

I found a small issue. I am running a cracked server so we use AuthMe which is a login plugin. The problem is that when players login to server it sends the reward before they can login which causes them to lose the reward once they login.

Did you already add the unlimited command feature? Or is that on your pending list? If you did add it, how do I properly configure a daily reward of both items and points?

@AliasXNeo That means that you can't use the command with the console. It will come with another update.

I'm currently adding a redeem code. I will also add the delay (with a configurable amount of days). I also add a unlimited command feature to the daily login reward.

Had some additional thoughts on ryanwagner's idea.

It would be nice if we could configure it to let players be able to use a code only once. That way they couldn't use the code unlimited times.
It would also be nice if we could configure a code to be only valid on a certain date. That way we could plan out several "code of the day" rewards in advance and just advertise them each day.

Then there's my previous wish:

Have a reward be able to execute more than one action (ie. give points, give item OR give item, give another item).
