Residence


About
Residence is different from most protection plugins in that it aims for the users to be able to protect their own homes without having to bother the admin to do it. Residence has support for a variety of different protection types including preventing movement through areas, all of which can be configured by the land owner, and limited by the admin.

- Dynmap Residence - Dynmap plugin that shows residences on the webmap.

Probably because they added new dispenser block and changed old one, create ticket, probably need to rewrite some code.
The problem is that it doesn't drop flint but use it, they changed that behavior.

Remove the world guard region..... Or write a plugin to alter world guard to ignore residence protected areas.. Either way, nothing I can do from Residence side.

Posted Jun 4, 2013I hate Tickets so i post my question here:
I made a World Guard region and made a few residences (or however you write it) and sold them to normal players but because i made a world guard region the players can not edit their residence and thats quiet anoying.
Is there a way to fix this?

Posted Jun 1, 2013I have a "- -residence.create" permission for Nether in PEX, but I still able to:
1. Use a "res create" command in Nether (ie, I able to create a residence in Overworld from Nether, if it was previously selected in Overworld).
2. Create residences in Nether via "res select x y z", "res select expand" and "res create".
Critical moment: wooden axe doesn't make a selection in Nether with this perm. It means that the permission works (partially, at least).
Is this bug or feature? Or my mistake?

But without names, how plugin should know what area you want to remove?
And yes, you can make any shape, but its always a shape build from small cuboids. Why you would ask? For performance. One round area is 100x worse than cuboid in cpu usage.
So my question would be, what you want to achieve?

Read wiki, you can set different set of behavior to different worlds, for example block lava flow on plot world, and allow lava flow on default world, and give ability to control it on survival world etc :)

Set world residence permissions config to true on everything in other worlds :)

because when i use the same name like main it says it alredy exists, thats why expand would be great, this would have same flags, one area !

I have a busy schedule and I try to keep as involved as I can, its also easier to respond to those issues I can just answer and close than ones that involve more work than that, so I hold off on those until I have time.

Residence has nothing to do with "f" (factions?)
If you use both, make sure that you don't use 2 protection plugins on single map or create your own integration plugin if there aren't already.
