What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create residence with fly permission.
2. Fly.
3. Delete residence.
4. Be so fly.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Not so fly. I'm still fly.

Nope, no error.

Works in my server too. Fly is enabled even if you land on ground.

For kolorafa : I think it exists "ResidenceModifyEvent" or something like this.
