What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Place a RES sign as described in Overview
2.  Sign works and lever moves
3.  Place a door on the block with the sign and place redstone from block
4.  Activate lever manually and door opens and redstone lights

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Click sign, expect lever move, door open and redstone light
instead, lever moves but nothing happens to door or redstone

What version of the product are you using?
CB 1.6.4

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No
