Using the plugin
- Run the plugin at least once to allow the .html files to be generated, then start with 'basic recipes.html'.

Is it only the plugin commands that don't work, or the entire plugin that doesn't work? That might be important to know if haveric is to troubleshoot the issue you're having.

Anything that can crash the server is serious to me. This is something that would be really easy to handle. I've started doing it in a couple of my plugins for backwards compatibility and will definitely take a look when I get some free time.

Posted Apr 20, 2014On my server, dirt can be smelted into clay balls. (awesome, right?)
Weird thing is, any fuel source works EXCEPT for coal blocks. If I put dirt and lava in a furnace, it will smelt. If I put dirt and a coal block in a furnace, it will not start.
Something I can do to fix this? (suspicion is new item can't smelt it, so acacia and such would be effected as well.)
thanks

Posted Apr 19, 2014I would just like to point out a bug, where if you specify an item that has been removed in 1.7+ within a recipe, then try to run a 1.7+ server with it, only bad things can happen.
For example, if you have a furnace recipe that specifies "block 36" as the result, and you load a chunk with a burning furnace, the server instantly crashes. It's not a graceful crash, however, not the "lag, crash, and burn" type.
Not a "serious" bug, in the sense that it shouldn't happen to many people, but still worth pointing out.
I've yet to figure out what happens if you specify an "impossible item" as the result of crafting, but I'm guessing the same result will occur.

I don't feel that I could contribute enough to handle future development by myself. I can help maintain it is all for now. If there are other interested developers, I would be more interested in taking it over fully as a team.
@Tealk123
You can get my unofficial build from Github

Hey man, couldn't you submit this to Bukkit and just explain that THDigi hasnt been on in a year and that you would like to 'maintain' the plugin? Also how do we download your updated version? I have no idea how Github works :P

I would imagine smelting would be difficult to check permissions for, because you don't know who put the item in the furnace. The plugin can mainly see only an item cooking in the furnace, and no other data attached to it. Sure, it can log every time a player puts an item in the furnace, but that oversimplifies the problem and can impose a heavy burden on the server. For instance, if an item gets put in the furnace by player A, and then player B adds more items, who is responsible for the stack?
In a nutshell, I doubt it's as you said, a "little fix". On the contrary, I would think it'd be rather complex to solve. But not impossible. Maybe. Just because a problem seems "small" and easy to fix, doesn't mean it is; there are always deep implications even for what may seem like the simplest effect.

I don't know anything about @needlevel, but I'll consider looking into it. Can you pm me the full chunkloadevent error (or pastebin it) that you are getting so that I can look into that one?

appreciate your efforts greatly. For some reason @needlevel is just not working with bukkit 1.6.4. It always thinks you don't meet the requirements, doesn't matter how many extra levels you have above it. Also throws could not pass chunkloadevent error. Never really hurt anything though.
And bypassed needlevel with needxp.
