Quester

Quester is highly customizable plugin handling all kinds of quests. From simple "gather to get reward" quests, to complicated forked story-telling quests. What is even better, everything is customizable on-the-fly directly in game ! No more restarting/reloading your server every time to change something. Localizable messages, plenty of different, highly-customizable objectives, conditions, events and flags. NPC and sign support. All this together creates almost unlimited possibilities.
Found a bug? Have a suggestion? Sumbit a ticket.
Don't forget to specify Quester version you are using and label the ticket appropriately. Tickets without label will take longer to review or be ignored completely.
Latest DEV version should be working with recent minecraft versions. See dev builds.

It still needs many things to be added. From now on, I will not upload every build, but provide development versions somewhere on the page, and release once major issues are fixed or enough additions have been made.

k will try new version and with "you have no idea where player is:" I meant like if you have a kill objective and then a effect the player can kill anywhere. (Kill bad example cuz it got location) but i guess you will get the point. If there isn't a location objectives then there is currently no way to make the event near or at the player only by adding a extra objective with location but that would end up in uggly quests. Hope you will add something like a player location or anything like that.

Well, actually events always know exactly where the player is on execution, such possibility just needs to be added.

edit: all commands mentioned by you should now work. You can't just omit location like /q evt a lightning 0 1 true, and 0.5.1 forgot to check that

Think there is a bug with the command formatting. When i use /q event add msg 0 1 &6Well done now go back to spawn! Then it add the event but then it will say:
1 Well done now go back to spawn!
And the 1 is white what means it use the delay as a part of the msg. Also tried this but that didn't work either. /q event add msg 0 &6Well done now go back to spawn 1 Are i'm doing something wrong or is this a bug? Haven't found any other errors so far yet :)
And another thing instead of location for events could you also add like something at player location? So like if you do: "/q event add explosion 0 1 player true" Then it will do the event on the player location instead of at a given location. Else it would only work on location objectives else you have no idea where the player is.
edit again :p When i try do lightning i get npe and not working. http://pastebin.com/CGbJSXg6 For the first set of errors i did "/q event add lightning 0 1 true" And for the second one: "/q event add lightning 0 1 0 80 0 this true"

Will just wait for your respond before testing they are probably all related to each other seems to be buggy with multiple events on same objective or something.

It cannot be integrated with citizens questers. It provides its own citizen type - NpcQuester. And I think its easy to use for users, when used with citizens. They only have to right or left click. Otherwise everything is managed by few commands. Creating quests sounds easy to me, since you can't really make mistake. If you do any, quester will tell you what you did wrong or how to do it correctly.

Posted Aug 8, 2012I just installed Quester and it shows me the following error: "Line 2208: 2012-08-09 07:35:37 [SEVERE] Could not load 'plugins/Quester.jar' in folder 'plugins'" I´ve tried to install just like in the instruction which you´ve sended to me.
Edit: And Now I tried to install 0.5.1 and it show me the following error: "Line 2603: 2012-08-09 07:44:56 [SEVERE] [Quester] Can't create file quests.yml !" "Line 2602: 2012-08-09 07:44:56 [SEVERE] [Quester] Can't create file profiles.yml !"
Edit2: OK, I´ve started the server more times now it is installed.
Next Problem: If I tried to type /toggle quester then it show me that is an invail NPC.

You need to add the quest then left click it to select one and then right click the npc again to choose one.

Posted Aug 8, 2012I just did but it only has one quest and when I left click but nothing happens. also by left-clicking with blaze rod nothing happens then it must remove the quest.

To select a quest from npc, you have to left click it. It's because npc can have multiple quests.
