The code for just clearing the sender would be really easy :)

Player p = (Player)sender; for( int i = 0; i < 119; i++){ p.sendMessage(" "); } return true;

I did a for each loop of all online players and send them a message, instead of broadcasting a message.

It would be cool if you made it so that every say, 5 mins (it could be configurable) then the chat will auto clear, it would save time of admiins on bugger servers

I don't think there's a way to handle the visual side of the chat using a plugin without something like Spout.

I built a chat clearing function into my plugin doing much the same, however, i wonder if there would be a way to do it without spamming 120 blank lines into the console.
