Posted Nov 13, 2012Will the /curse commands eventually work with factions in the next update? Something along the lines of /curse [option] [faction]?

Judging by the Bukkit team's progress with 1.4.2 beta it should be very soon. As usual, I'll update Prayer once Bukkit 1.4 is out of beta.

That's a standard feature of the core Minecraft game but you can turn a Dragon Egg into an inventory item by pushing it with a Piston.

Posted Oct 17, 2012Hello! First of all I want to tell you that this is an awesome Plug-In! But there is a problem for me. Everytime a normal player (not OP) tries to /pray, he gets the message "Thou dost not have permission to use this command.". If you know how to solve this problem, please tell me. Thanks!

GroupManager.
Edit:
Last time I tested this, I put the - -prayer.curse.* permission node for PvE, however it denied all prayer options instead or something was funky because the permissions are defaulted to true.

Your respective permissions plugin should handle this for you. Which one are you using?

Posted Oct 14, 2012You might want to take a look at the Gods Plugin. I think the 2 plugins would compliment each other greatly

How can I deny certain commands in one world yet allow them in another?

A "false-by-default" approach assumes that every server has a permissions plugin installed which is definitely not the case. Folks not currently running permissions would be forced to install and configure one.
I will, however, simplify the existing plugin.yml permissions as highlighted in this ticket. This should help make things easier for most of you until a more equitable and balanced solution presents itself.

Posted Oct 9, 2012I also prefer "false" true, I find the entire notion of defaulting a permission to true ridiculous :P It's like building a vault in your Bank and leaving it open by default.
So yay for that ;) It prevents some issues in some permission systems...

Just so I'm clear, you're suggesting that I invert the existing option permissions altogether from their current "true" values to "false"? This would enforce an opting-in versus and opting-out approach when setting up one's permissions. I'll look into this as I've received similar requests. Thanks.

If no permissions where given by default it would help out a lot on the new Towny rank feature of their dev build. Which will allow ranks of towns to have specific permissions.
Currently I have a farmer rank in the towns and want to use the /pray crops as a permission only the farmers know. However, if I deny the permission from the groups in my regular permission plugin so no one can use /pray crops. There is no way to give the permission back to the farmers via Towny permissions. Hope this make sense.
Edit: For some reason, with v1.1.2 when I deny curses using permissions in GroupManager it denies the use of all pray options too. Agh! PvE world now has PvP becauses of curses :P, guess I should wait to update.

I'll do some more experiments with Permissions and get back to you. As for the Altar disable try allow-altar-influence: false. Thanks.

Posted Sep 21, 2012Could you make it so that no perms would be given by default, but that you would have to place permission nodes into groups before any features could be used by anyone. And maybe I missed this, but is there a way to disable altairs?
