Ports
Ports

Ports allows you to define regions which transport players around the world instantly, or on a schedule of your choosing.
Your ports can be trains, planes, ships, portals, whatever you like. You are limited only by your imagination!
Important notices
- This plugin requires WorldEdit, and will not work without it.
- All pre-existing port data from Ports v0.2 will be unusable with Ports v0.3 and above. If you have a large number of ports set up, you can use the sql2yaml Ruby script to convert the database to the new format. If you need help, please feel free to private message me on BukkitDev.
- The current version should still work on 1.6. If you have any issues, please post a comment.

Posted Dec 21, 2012Robin, thank you for still supporting this plugin. I have been using it for one and a half year and still loving it. Look forward to the performance tweaks as well!
Also, our plugin developer made a addon to your plugin which makes it show on the dynamic map. You can view it here: http://5.9.71.66:8135/
Go to the top left corner and tick the 'UthrandirPorts' option. :)

If you're referring to the 1.4.6 dev builds, then as long as you use the most recent version of WorldEdit with it, Ports *should* work fine. Of course, with dev builds a lot of stuff tends to break so I'd be a bit cautious.

Posted Dec 17, 2012I've just published Ports v0.2, and it's currently awaiting approval. Please note that this is only a minor update to tide you over while I fix the performance issues, so please don't expect too much.
A changelog will be available here when the new version has been approved.

Yup. I've worked out a way to fix the performance problems but it'll require pretty much a complete re-write, which might take a little while.
In the meantime, the current version should still work in 1.4.5. If you have any problems, let me know.

Any progress with this? I really love your plugin and want to use it. Using JumpPorts in between, but that does not act so nicely as yours :)

It was running on a VPS that was hosting a bunch of websites. I've since moved the websites to Heroku and so I couldn't justify paying for the VPS anymore...

You're going to have to be a bit more specific than "it's no longer working" if you want help :P
Does Ports appear in the list when you use the /plugins command? Do any errors appear in the console? Are you op/do you have the correct permissions?

I did manage to find out which addon was causing the issues. It was the manysmalltweaks and stackableitems. But for some reason Ports is no longer working even though I have the plugin on the server and have the old files still so I am stumped there. xD

I don't think a CB update has ever broken one of my plugins, so the chances are this will still work with 1.4. I'll do some testing when a recommended build for 1.4 is available.

Yup, that's been on my todo list for a while. I need to tidy up the code a bit first though.
