PointShop

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This plugin allows players to buy items, commands and more with Points. PlayerPoints is needed for this.

This Plugin is continued here:

Features:

Buy items/itemsets
Add subcodes (like colored wool), damage and enchantments to items
Buy cmds/doubleCmds/cmdSets
Buy perms/permSets/timePerms
TimePermissions : After the configurable time, the permissions will be removed
Trade points with money
Configurable (you can add/remove infinite cmds/items/permissions)
Permissions Support
Add configurable prices
Economy Support (Vault is needed) (optional)
Sign support

You need Vault if you want to work with Perms/PermSets/TimePerms/Economy!

Command explanation

Commands:

/<ps/pshop> buy <cmd/Dcmd/item/itemSet/money/points/perm/permSet/timePerm> <name>
/<ps/pshop> list <item/itemSet/cmd/Dcmd/perm/permSet/timePerm> <page>
You can remove /ps if you want (here you can see, how to remove this)

So people can buy the Permset for free. It charges them but if they don't have enough points it still gives it to them.

I will add messages.yml
I will add a buyable command, and after a configurable time a second command will be executed, but: The plugin checks the time only when the player joins
I will add colored Signs too

If the price of the thing on the sign is 100P, then the line will be changed to 100 P (In v1.5, you can disable this)

Im writing a plugin, which allows you to get points. Maybe Jobs and some other Plugins will support Points too.

List, and Permissions are two different things in the config. Maybe you wrote "Clans" on the list, but the name of the permission is "clans" or something else.

Hello! I really like the idea of this plugin, but there's one crucial feature I'd like to see.... selling items to get points :)

The idea I have for my server is that Sponges will be scattered throughout various "spell challenges". (A Hogwarts based map) The sponges can then be traded for points. The points will allow them to purchase new wands, scrolls, spellbooks, new ranks etc!

I don't know if it's easy to add selling or not, but I just thought I'd throw the idea out there :)

Really nice but some things:

Could you add a messages.yml so we can modify all msges? And also for PlayerPoints.

And could you add a option at command if you add time then you can add a second command. Here a random example:

Cmd: OP: Price: 100 Message: You are now op for 10 seconds! Cmd: op %player% Time: 10 SecondCmd: deop %player%

We could add some more things with this instead of giving timed permissions only.

And could you make it so we can add colored signs? Example:

Sign: Text: '&e[Buy]'

You could make it so it automatic update to the color or that you have to add the color code when you write the sign but not sure if second one is possible.

Fixed this bug
Fixed the inventory bug too. You got the items, you bought, but your inventory wasnt updated. If you click then in the next inventory slot, the item appears.

Another bug. The pointshop signs do not recognize the "perm" set even though i can list and see all of them. Also the signs for items do not give out the items.

So I have an issue. The config.yml keeps rewriting itself when i restart the server. We are using v. 1.4 Also Could you keep the commands /pshop please. So it doesn't conflict with Precious stones. Hey, Will you please give us a better explanation about your cfg file and how to do add items. I am not sure which way to do it.

This way:

Perm: BuyItem: PermissionsNode: PointShop.buy.Item Price: 250 Message: Successfully bought the Permissions Node %PermissionsNode% Cowboy: PermissionsNode: mobdisguise.cow Price: 50 Message: Successfully bought the Permissions Node %PermissionsNode%

or make another Perm.

Perm: Cowboy: PermissionsNode: mobdisguise.cow Price: 50 Message: Successfully bought the Permissions Node %PermissionsNode%
