Description

Using this plugin you can allow your users to obtain new ranks by paying configurable amounts of in-game money. You can have as many groups as you wish and set a price that is different for each of them. It is as easy as adding your groups to the lists in the configuration file and restarting your server. Please make sure you read the commented section of the config file as it contains important information about setting up the file. Enjoy :-)

How to Install

Download the latest PaidRanks.jar and add it to your plugins file on your server.
Start the server!
Go to your config.yml under the /Plugins/PaidRanks
Decide whether or not you want your ranks to be global
Now go to the language file and decide if you want to change anything. If not your all set.
Go in-game and follow the commands!

Are there any permission nodes?

Also, it keeps saying ''An internal error has occurred while attempting to perform this command.''

Could you add support for multiple rank trees? such as

/pex promote Bob CityA

Or just keep their own tree.

hey so i don't think you ever addressed this but whenever i rank myself up(I'm not OP or anything) none of my money gets withdrawn. i have the latest version of vault and Iconomy and this plugin

current settup:

grouplist: - User - Moderator - Admin - Owner - admin

groups: User: 50 Moderator: 100 Admin: 150 Owner: 200

The plugin.yml is fine, when I downgraded from 1.1 to 1.0 with the same plugin.yml it worked perfecly. :/

I don't get what's wrong on my server it works fine

Be sure in the plugin.yml its like this

grouplist: - member - gamer - united - moderator - admin

groups: member: 50 gamer: 100 united: 150 moderator: 200 admin: 250

Do you get the concept. The only thing i can think of now

Hello, I have a problem: I have those ranks: Newbie, Member, Advanced, Gamer, Pro and United. I use Newbie as default, but when I write /rankup it says I ranked to Memeber and near my name writes [Member]. When I write /rankup again it says you were moved to rank Advanced, but near my name again writes [Newbie]. And again it [Gamer] and again when i write /rankup [Newbie]. So, it works just [Newbie] ; [Member] ; [Gamer] ; [United]. What's wrong?

Just to report a glitch. My config is something like this:
groupslist: - C / - B / - A / - X
groups: C: 0 / B: 100 / A: 500 / X: 800
I'm rank A and I my balance is 700. When I /rankup, it don't tell me how much left to X, but it downrank me (!) to B again, for $100.
I had to downgrade the plugin waiting for the fix :/

Is there a way that, I can run two sets of groups, one starting with regular players, and the other starting with Donators, and regular players can't rankup to Donators, as when i tried, they got to the top rank, and then ranked to Donators

alright like i said earlier, i got it to work, however, when i rank myself up, i get no money withdrawn! i am using the latest versions of Vault and Iconomy. the rank up works, just not the money part! any ideas?

ok so i got it to work with PEX, but there are errors when i rank myself up, namely the displaying of the rank up. so like i said, it works, but it generate errors!

you have to configure it. like this

Your default group User, VIP vip, mod mod, admin admin Examples:

SO it will look like this - user - vip - mod - admin

hey there. i have use this plugin before, but i recently updated my server, from the ground up. i started using PermissionsEX as my permissions system. so far, anything i do has not worked, on the paid ranks side. people can rank up, but it puts them in ranks i never made.

for instance, i have the PEX group Moderator. when someone of group User(default) tries to rank up, it puts them in a mod group. how i can tell is that they have a "Mod" chat prefix. but when i try to promote/demote them by console, it says they are not promotable. i checked, and yes, paid ranks puts them in a new group, which it creates!

please support PEX in a future release! or, if i have missed something, please let me know how i can fix and configure my PEX and paid ranks to work together!

Hello folks, sorry I have not kept this plugin up to date. I was without a computer for a while and since I got it back I have been busy with work, life, etc. messageofdeath will be continuing the plugin from here on out. Once again i apologize. I may be returning to the plugin scene soon but I cannot say when it will be.
