Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

There's no change for spout in this version. I have no idea why it's caused, most likely a spout problem, not my plugin's.

Yes, changing initialRadius needs re-caching.

Posted Mar 6, 2012@lishid I just tried the initialradius=3 as well. Same problems...chunks wouldn't ever load... init=1/2 work fine...
Also, now that I've changed it back to init=1, the CPU has gone from 10%-20% to 50-60% on an 8xQuad core server...is that the plugin just, re-caching chunks or something? Server host will be pissed >.<

If none of the chunk loads, then you probably have an incompatibility. If only one chunk loads, then your server is probably not fast enough to handle IR=3.
If you have spout, update that. Same for if you have NoLagg.

Posted Mar 6, 2012I was using Engine 1 and InitialRadius 3. Whenever somebody logs in, the chunks around them don't load... (not the surface, or anything in it, etc.)
Why is this? (Maybe becasue of engine 1, but I want it to load the surface and not the ores underneath!)

Read the FAQ. There's a section that tells you how to combat X-ray texture pack.
@HighlifeTTU
There's a page on my wiki that talks about ProximityHider. https://github.com/lishd/Orebfuscator/wiki/ProximityHider
I'm planning to look at CB + + when my 1.2 builds are stable.

Posted Mar 6, 2012lishid ... What is proximity hider? Need to know before I throw it on my server... I'm running a 125 slots do they get grouchy if I make a change that goes crazy.
By the way, you ever thought of working with the craftbukkit(plus)(plus) guy to integrate your stuff into the actual bukkit build? He has done a great job doing some things that nolagg does but in the actual bukkit code, which has made it possible for me to run 125 players with orebfuscator and nocheat at 20/ticks a second. Just a thought.

I meant that while I'm using the xray texture pack, and standing on the surface (on grass) the grass is invisible and makes the stone below it invisible too, thus allowing me to see caves. However if I use a xray mod the grass is still invisible but I can see the random (fake) ores. The plugin works perfect when I'm underground but not in this situation. If I still explained it poorly I can send you some pictures to show you what I mean.

Not sure what you mean there, you're saying you can't see "if I'm standing above grass", but you can see "when I use the texturepack above grass"...?

Posted Mar 6, 2012What I noticed is that if I'm standing above grass and use a mod, I cant see caves or underground structures, everything is blocked. However, when I use the texturepack above grass I can see the caves. Do I need to add grass's data value to one of the lists in the config or is there another way around it? Thanks for your help so far by the way
