Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

It hides chests so that x-ray hackers don't select x-ray chest only and hide all ores. Then they can see hidden underground bases with chests.

Posted Aug 27, 2012Maybe a stupid question, but what does the proximity hider solve when using Engine 2? you already can't see through the ground, so in theory all it's hiding is your own chests...

So you're saying that essentials is doing something weird too?
@ollieri3
That's just because of player lag. If it persists, you can disable UpdateThread in the config.

Well, they are doing it serverside, falling and not falling xD I'm pretty sure that Essentials is saving the coords that make the player fall, while the actual player files keep their original position.

Posted Aug 27, 2012@lishid Hi there great plugin, just some weird bug though that when players are mining blocks tend to get weird texture bugs, such as a piece of sand may look like tnt but it disappears when they mine it ..... any fix for this ? thanks.

Wait... are they falling client-side or server side, and what are their coords saved in the data?

yeah well, thats what im cryptically trying to tell you. They start having 2 positions, which is really weird. When you tp to them you tp to there "falling" position, but if you actually manually fly to their position, you can see, that they didnt really fall out the world. They are still on the surface. They can also break and place blocks (not just clientside). It's very weird :/ So I had to stop using this great plugin, which is a very big issue atm.

That might be a specialty of essentials or which plugin you are using for whois. That plugin might also prevent the damage for some reason. Usually players would get damaged by the void...

Yeah, they log out, fall out, but are still on the surface, also falling though. It's weird. /coords shows they are falling, /whois their surface coords.

No... It's an error that I'm trying to hide since it's an expected error and doesn't affect the server at all.

Your players don't take damage from falling into the void ?
The plugin No Void Damage is quite simple, it prevents the damage from the void and teleports the players on such occasion.
I might make it more complicated, for there are requests because suffocation happens for chunk sending reasons too (for whatever reason).
