This plugin will control who can and cannot create portals with any map on your server.

Features:
- Block creation of portals in any world.
- Watchdog/Destroyer system will automatically remove any portals that are not in the Valid Portal list.
- Stop Ender feature when enabled will stop players from being able to activate Ender Portals
Permissions:
NOTE: the permissions should be all lowercase.
'noportals.<worldname>.allow' - This will allow someone to create a portal in the specified world. 'noportals.reload' - This will allow someone to reload the pluging with the /noportals command.
<worldname> is the name of the world you wish to allow someone to create the portal.

Configuration:
The watchdog system will log new portals that admins/ops create and store them in the ValidPortals.log file. The watchdog system can be turned on and off via the config file and will be turned off by default.
Note for established servers: Recreate the portals you want so that the plugin system will know the location of them before turning on the watchdog system. The destroyer system is a part of the watchdog system; the watchdog system must be active for the destroyer to remove portals. I recommend keeping this system off until all wanted portals are in the valid list or you might find wanted portals being destroyed.
The Stop Ender system when enabled in the configuration file will stop unauthorized people from placing the Eye Of Ender in Ender Portal blocks, thus stopping them from activating the portals.

Posted Jun 11, 2012Will have an updated version within the next 24/48 hours. My apologies for the lack of updates, college got the better of me for a bit there. Updating it due to Permissions being completely dead, getting it to work with PermissionsEx, then implementing the new Watchdog/Destroyer system, then will upload the new version!

Yes it is, in fact once the new upload gets approved for 0.5.2 (can be found in the files section, just not approved yet) it will not use any depreciated code at all and be completely ready for R5 when it is released.

Using permissions you could give everyone the permission "noportals.wordname_nether.allow" to allow anyone to create the portals in the nether and would still restrict players from creating portals in the "world". You could achieve this by adding it to the default user so anyone created on the server would automatically have that permission. For users already on the server, just make sure that you add that permission to the group you have made for them.

Currently this plugin stops the creation of Nether Portals as the Ender Portals do not follow the same rules as Nether Portals. I am looking into making it so it can stop Ender Portals as well. I am more then likely going to work on that functionality this weekend.
