    The Examiner is really a great great tool.
    would it be possible to have something like that to see where lag is coming from if it is not a plugin?
    i mean is it redstone, is it mobs, is it something else?
    you get the idea i think.

    I think Examiner already has this feature. I remember seeing Chunk Loading from CraftBukkit took up a lot of resources.

    you can see the chunks, but nothing else that is not related to bukkit.

    This is a great idea!

    A tip for redstonethings: the plugin "RedstoneClockDetector"

    For mobs: Use /nolagg monitor

    Yep this is what I partially wanted to add too, but most of that require changes to the actual Bukkit server. (adding some stopwatches here and there)

    But who knows, maybe CraftBukkit ever implements it myself. :)
