Changelog

This is the first release of MyZ 3.0 on dev.bukkit. If you haven't been keeping up with the bleeding-edge releases, check out the GitHub page. Lots has been added in the last month and we're finally ready for an official beta release.

MyZ hosts an official website where you can view lots of cool things such as global statistics and recommended servers. After downloading MyZ, I highly recommend you head on over there and register your server for entry on the CDS.

I am also in the process of creating an official MyZ map, especially for Minecraft 1.7.2. If you want to help contribute to the development of the map, feel free to submit a WorldEdit schematic to my personal email. The theme is, obviously, post-apocalyptic. Submitters will be given a server-wide name prefix.

    • More WorldGuard and LibsDisguise integration
    • Extensive refactoring providing more code stability.
    • Grave-hiding: Players can right click a grave (see this picture) with a bone to hide underneath it. Right clicking the soul sand will bring them back to the surface.
    • Per-player locales: Players now receive messages in their native language, depending on what their language is set to in Minecraft settings. By default there is only Pirate Speak and English.
    • Fancy death messages: In PVP activity, a death message is announced with the hover-over holding the name of the item each player fought with.

Not all features are implemented yet. Be patient!

  • Human NPCs will drop two copies of their death loot, a real and a ghost. The ghost cannot be picked up and is essentially a visual glitch. This is being investigated and will be fixed eventually.
