MyWarp

Table of Contents

MyWarp allows players to create and share warps with each other. The plugin is higly flexible: you can limit the number of warps player can create, charge for using warps, implement cooldowns or warmups, and more.

Note: MyWarp is compatible with every version of Spigot/Bukkit released since 1.7.10. It rarely needs to be updated for new Minecraft versions. When in doubt, try a development build.

Features

Create public and private warps.
Invite players or whole permission groups to warps.
Use buttons or pressure plates to teleport to warps.
Limit the number of warps players can create via permissions.
Charge users for creating or using warps (via Vault).
Use cooldowns and warmups for warps.
Translate or change every message that your players might see.
Store warps in an SQL-Database (H2, SQLite, MySQL).
Supports every Bukkit version from 1.7.10 to current.

MyWarp is highly customisable, enable only what you need. Disabled functions will never impact your server’s performance.

With the mywarp.warp.soc.accept permission, if I were to (and this is on a Prison server) not give it to my D-Block group, and do give it to my Free group, does that mean that d-block players cannot accept warp invitations, but Free can?

What do you mean? MyWarp allows you to limit how many warps users can make on a specific world/a set of specific worlds and you can control which warps a user can visit from a specific world/a set of specific worlds.

Yes. I am working very hard on the update right now, although it might still need a few weeks until it can be released. Since I need to change the database layout completely I can also include some extensive internal changes, that I have been holding back for some time. You will be able to import 'old' warps from the current database layout, probably via command.

I will also release the current devBuild a last version supporting 1.6.x and 1.7.2 with names and not UUIDs in a few hours (edit: done).

Will you be updating mywarp to the new UUID system and 1.8? If so, will the database/warps auto update to the new system, or will we have to manually do something? Or would all warps be deleted?

Sorry for the delay... That is not a serious error and defiantly not related to 1.6.4.

MyWarp tries to match the uses localizations to the local a player has set in the client. Sadly this is not yet covered by bukkit itself so I need to use some tricky methods (reflection) that may sometimes fail. MyWarp then logs a warning in the console and just use the default locale that has been set in the config. If this only happens a few times and works for most players you can ignore this warning.

But would it work on a 1.6.4 server?

Edit:

I used it the first 2 hours normal, after some sec it screwed the text up agien.

It says [MyWarp] Failed to get locale from Arton123: locale, defaulting to en_US

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this. All cases you mentioned were, at least in my tests, perfectly recognized by MyWarp. MyWarp will always fail if there is not a solid block right underneath the warp's location that will not damage the player (like lava, fire, cactus...).

Are you sure, warpSafety is enabled? Are you using the most recent version of MyWarp?

warpSafety seems to not be working. It is possible to make warps up in the air and have people warp to their deaths. Is it possible to prevent warping if:

There is no 3x3 block platform under the warp location
There is lava under the warp location
The warp location is on top of the void

This would increase the utility of the plugin significantly!

I assume shortly after bukkit releases a recommend build for 1.7.x - I am looking into implementing the new message features introduced with 1.7 (hover-text, execute command on click) right into MyWarp and waiting for some sort of official API for them.

The current devBuilds (read, then click on the button at the bottom) seem to be extremely stable, through. I am running it myself on my public server without any known issues.

Everytime I bring up my server I get this error code in config:

[MyWarp] Failed to read mywarp_lang.yml (not a FileConfiguration), using build-in defaults:

All of the MyWarp commands result in "An internal error occurred while attempting to preform this command"

I haven't messed with the configs at all and I've tried all that I can think of... Essentials warps commands are disabled. I would really like some help! I'm quite new to this all and am only trying to make a server for my friends and I to play on. I love this plugin, though!

No idea, depends completely on bukkit. devBuilds can be fond by clicking on the 'devBuilds' button on top of this page or by clicking here.
