What steps will reproduce the problem?1.2.3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?I expected players' homes to be privated to only themselves upon joining the server, unless they used /home invite <player name>. However, instead of this, they were able to go to everyone's home until denied the permission "myhome.home.soc.others." Upon giving them this permission, they weren't able to go to anyone's home whatsoever, even after being invited.
What version of the product are you using?Version 2.2
Do you have an error log of what happened? It gave no error
Please provide any additional information below. To clarify things, I gave my default group, members, permission to "myhome.home.soc.others," thinking that, if they were invited to someone else's home, they would be able to teleport there. However, when given this permission, instead of only being able to go to these people's homes upon invite, they were able to go to everyone's home on the server. They were not given permission to the "myhome.admin.home.any" permission, by the way. It seemed as if everyone on the server's home was public. When players typed /home private, however, it did stop people from coming to their homes, and sort of made it like it should be. The problem is, I can't just instruct every single player to type /home private whenever they join the server. So, I denied them permission to that node, assuming it was broken and, instead of doing what I originally thought, it instead allowed them to go to everyone's home that wasn't explicitly set to be private. When I denied them the node, they were then unable to go to anyone's home at all -- invited or not.
Help? :P
I filed this a while ago... Sorry to "bump" my own ticket. I'm not sure how long it usually takes to get responded to, but I'm fairly sure this is longer than usual.
Can you test 2.3.1 and see if you're still having the problem. Has been a lot of SuperPerms related permissions issues so I've ripped that whole system out.
