The easy to use multiworld plugin, support custom end and nether worlds for each worlds, you can configure what you want, and you get it (limited to what I programmed)
History
I made this plugin because the previous author "Baummann", the original creator of Multiworld, became inactive. Before, it was just a simple plugin with 2 commands: /goto and /newworld. I took control of the project and developed a better version. We are now at version 5.2.8 of Multiworld.
Features
- Custom world generators like a world with deserts
- Allows you to change the gamemode of a player when you enters a world
- Supports relative coordinates with /mw move and /mw goto like the /teleport from vanila minecraft
- Block chat coming from other worlds to create worlds where the users have their own private chat

Other recommended plugins for your server
- LocationTeleport - This plugin teleports users when they enter a arena, when you shape the area like a portal, you can have your own portals
- hothgenerator - Generates a awesome snow world (Case sensitive)

- multiinv - Allows more control between the inventories of worlds than multiworld can provide on its own.

Posted Mar 19, 2013I'm noticing that in the mcpc plus server jar when you make a world using the Empty gen, no mobs will spawn. Any idea what might be causing this?

i have a question. i am using multiworld to manage my multiworld server with PVE, PVP and creative worlds with seperated nethers for all worlds. There are several mods/plugins adding new dimensions to minecraft. Like Twilightforest and galacticraft. The dimensions of these mods are accessable from all worlds, so its possible to go from PVE world into the same twilightforest as from PVP.. i would like to set that some dimensions are only accessable from specific worlds.. like twilightforest is only accessable from PVE world.. any way to do this in multiworlds?

my plugin does not block building/destroying inside the worlds, maybe the default spawn protection is doing this?

You set that up in your permissions. If you use PermissionsEx you would want to give your players the node modifyworld.(worldname).(whatever you do or don't want them to break/have/use) or something like that.

yes it still works, I build my plugins inside a way that even if there a minecraft update, it tries to make it self still work, by using only bukkit things

my plugin scans the installed plugin for name matching plugins for the plugin world generator, but in your case it looks like it does not see there is a plugin generator inside my plugin (or I made a mistake somewhere, what I think that it gives the wrong error, it must say that it wasn't able to find the plugin), I will look if I can solve this inside the next release

Hello - I wrote to you earlier about loading/importing a world file. This is working for me for a normal generated world. However, when i attempt to load a world that has a generator (such as the hoth generator example) - It doesnt generate. The world generator is listed int he bukkit.yml, is uploaded into the plugins folder, there is no error listed in the console, and the ingame chat states "Error: Do /mw listgens for a list of valid world gens"

Is there a sepcific folder I need to put this generator into, or is the default plugins folder correct? I have this and one other generated world (plotme) that I need to use the "plugin" variable when generating these two world.
Is it possible to manually enter them into the config itself?
I see a lot of potential for this plugin and it will be so NICE to get rid of the other multimap plugin. (Who never updates.)

It was added to years ago, updated this month. The plugin is working great for me on 1.4.7 when creating generated worlds with the generators the plugins come with.
