Multiworld
Craftbukkit 1.9 support!
Multiworld - The official Multiworld Project
The easy to use multiworld plugin, support custom end and nether worlds for each worlds, you can configure what you want, and you get it (limited to what I programmed)
History
I made this plugin because the previous author "Baummann", the original creator of Multiworld, became inactive. Before, it was just a simple plugin with 2 commands: /goto and /newworld. I took control of the project and developed a better version. We are now at version 5.2.8 of Multiworld.
Features
- Custom world generators like a world with deserts
- Allows you to change the gamemode of a player when you enters a world
- Supports relative coordinates with /mw move and /mw goto like the /teleport from vanila minecraft
- Block chat coming from other worlds to create worlds where the users have their own private chat

Multiworld and Data Collecting
Multiworld is using a statistcs tracking code so useage statistics wil be logged, for more information what is logged see:
Other recommended plugins for your server
- LocationTeleport - This plugin teleports users when they enter a arena, when you shape the area like a portal, you can have your own portals
- hothgenerator - Generates a awesome snow world (Case sensitive)
/mw create WorldName plugin:HothGenerator
- multiinv - Allows more control between the inventories of worlds than multiworld can provide on its own.

Posted Dec 18, 2013Great plugin! Is there a way to spawn worlds using the Large Biomes feature, though? I've not found one thus far. I might just be blind and missing it somewhere, but I would love to be able to spawn a new world using the Large Biomes function

Posted Dec 17, 2013Hello on my minecraft server we are planning to make a new spawn. The new spawn will also be in a new world... Problem is that how are we going to transfer player's inventories, enderchest, and such? Like what in the world file holds the player's inventory and enderchest? Maybe I could take that part of the original world file and put it into the new world file and it will be all good? If you are wondering why we are making a new world for the spawn, it is because we are going to reduce the lag by moving spawn into a flat world. Help with this is greatly appreciated :D Possibly a free rank on my PvP server? :P

Posted Dec 16, 2013I'm having trouble with the server pointlessly re-generating the spawn area each time its invoked, as if it was being run on a new world for the first time, even though it actually never uses the newly generated spawn area and doesn't end up overwriting anything in the world at all. It just means it takes a lot longer to boot up than it should.
And this started happening after I updated multiword. I think it might have something to do with the way the worlds/ directory in multiword isn't quite the same as in normal Minecraft, so maybe the server code is failing to realize the world was already generated, so it goes into its default startup mode of generating a new start world in RAM, but then once it boots up it replaces that start world in RAM with the actual data from the region files on disk (good! I don't want a new spawn area) but it's still wasting a lot of time on startup generating terrain in its head that it will just throw away once it finishes.
What I'm referring to is this sort of thing:
… and so on….
It does that each time I start up even though 'world-of-tlaw' already exists and already has a spawn area.
(world-of-tlaw is my default normal world's name).
Has anyone else encountered this and if so, do you know of a fix? I'm not even sure Multiworld is the cause of it. I'm just guessing it might be because of how it changes the directory structure for storing worlds.

Updating this plugin to support 1.7.2 amplified worlds gen would be awesome.
Kind regards.

it's not just about mobs, dropped items are entities too.
Edit: I've created a ticket for this issue

I don't think its recommend for the creative world to have mobs enabled incase of abuse. How did you setup your worlds?

Posted Dec 13, 2013I currently have a Creative world tacked on to the default set, (with multiinv keeping them from bringing items back) and this creative world unlinked to the nether/end, which stops PLAYERS from using the portals, but other entities (such as item stacks) can still go through. I'm sure you can see the exploit. Is there a way to fix this?
Edit: added bold text

Posted Dec 8, 2013Hi,
There are a few settings I can't find clear documentation for.
I believe "blockEnderChestInCrea" blocks enderchests in creative worlds, and I would guess that "useWorldChatSeperator" means chat is kept to players in the same world. But the others are a bit vague. I currently use MultiInv to handle inventory changes between worlds and gamemodes. some of your settings suggest multiWorld will handle this itself.
Anyway, could you tell me exactly what these settings do.
options: usecreativemode: false
usecreativemodeinv: false
blockEnderChestInCrea: true
useEndPortalHandler: false
useportalhandler: false
useWorldSpawnHandler: true
useWorldChatSeperator: false
. .
Thanks /lazarus_mub

Posted Dec 5, 2013I've given people the correct permissions, and I've copied and pasted the world permissions folders, and changed the world to the world I want them to travel to - yet it still says "You are not allowed to enter that world.", then it says it TP'd the user, but it doesn't.
I am using Essentials GroupManager as my permissions plugin. All the permissions are set, and I'm getting no errors at all from either MultiWorld or GroupManager so I have no idea what the problem is. ;?
