About MV2
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!

- Restrict users from using specific portals with permissions
- Charge users to use specific portals!
- Exempt users from portal fees.
- Launch users through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal!
- Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

Posted Feb 6, 2013This might be a really dumb question, but it may have a simple answer. I know you can make one portal (input) linked to another portal (output) BUT is it possible to link two portals and have them act as BOTH inputs and outputs? Example: can I enter one and come out the other and then go back through the one I came out to get back to the other?

Posted Feb 1, 2013I added a 10 second cooldown for the portals but it only actually has a cooldown when you go through to portal and back through it again. Is it possible to add a cooldown to every single portal you go through whether it be back in the same one or not?

In your Portals configuration, set "enfocepotalccess" to false, or type "/mvp conf enforceportalaccess false" from in-game/console. If this still doesn't work, add the correct permissions.
multiverse.portal.access.*...if you want to give access to ALL portals.
multiverse.portal.access.[portalName]...if you want to give access to the specified portal.

I had this problem a while back. In your worlds.yml file, make sure the 'scale' is set to 16.0, and regenerate the world. On our server, it defaulted to 1, and did the same thing you described. Or, you can go to where the ground is and use /mv setspawn to reset the default spawn point.

I get the same thing on my server, all end portals spawn players at Y:-7 and they fall to their deaths.

Posted Jan 22, 2013Portals that go to the end have had an issue since 1.4.7. they no longer listen to destination modifications either. Sicne updating all/any portals to the end take the user to the same place. No matter what I try,a portal will always place user in the same location, about 200 away from any land in the middle of nowhere.

Posted Jan 20, 2013When a player riding a vehicle enters a portal nothing happens. It'd be nice if it teleported the vehicle and player.
