Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but *not bloated*! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!

- Restrict users from using specific portals with permissions
- Charge users to use specific portals!
- Exempt users from portal fees.
- Launch users through the air when they enter a Multiverse Portal!
- Allow minecarts/boats through Multiverse Portals
So long Awesome Builds
We use to have this notion of an "Awesome Build" or AB which was suppose to be thought of like Bukkit's Recommended Build system. Awesome Builds were ones that we put extra testing into and were meant to be very stable. Unfortunately there will be no more Awesome Builds. Our development team doesn't have the time to devote to the project that we use to. As such, we've moved to a new build system which you'll notice in the new version numbering. Our release builds here should be stable; Lots of people have had time to vet them for us while they were only development builds. While we don't have much time to work on the project, we do still take critical bugs very seriously and try to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

There is another way to get your horse to other world using a plugin. Get the StableMaster plugin and put a stable master in both worlds. You have to have citizens plugin as well, and vault too I think.
I too hope multiverse-portals will be updated soon to allow riding through portals.

Posted Aug 10, 2013is there a way to allow players to go through portals while they're riding a horse? and have the horse go through. well or to allow horses to go through even if nobody is riding them. (im trying to get my horses from one world to another)

Posted Aug 10, 2013Ok so i loaded the plugin, built and set the warps and now none of them work and im damned if i can figure out why.... i used the below command and it successfully set the warps...
/mvp create <portal Name> e:<world name>:<cords to warp to> /mv conf enforceaccess false /mvp conf enforceportalaccess false
Am i missing something ?? Using 1.6.2

Posted Aug 7, 2013Quick question. I was wondering if there was a way to do this... A few things actually.
The first one I want to know how to get done is I have a portal at Spawn. The world is called Spawn. That portal goes to the Survival world. Although I want it to randomly teleport you to the Survival world. So you don't get teleported to the exact coords each time.
My next question is. Is there a way to make it so lets say. Player 1 is at their house and they teleported to spawn. They then go back thou the Portal to the Survival world and they would end up at their house. Not at the Survival world Spawn.
Any way to do either of these? Thanks!

Posted Aug 5, 2013When I imported a world into my server, my Multiverse portal in that world isn't working! I created another portal in a different place it didn't work! So here's the problem, when I type in /mvp select Hub345 it selects it but when I go to the 2nd portal and to /mvp select spawn, it says "Hub345 selected! I can't seem to fix it please help!

Posted Aug 2, 2013Using the lastest dev build on mcpc-plus-1.5.2-R1.1-forge738-B617.jar with of course minecraft 1.5.2
But for some reason when i create a portal that's suppose to cost money it doesn't take the money from the person. I enabled debug mode and and says the price is 400 to enter, but still doesn't take the money.
Any solution to this? Even tried to downgrade but that just fucked the portals up and made then not work at all.

I've dealt with a similar issue in the past. The work around is to select the portal you go through, then stand at the desired destination facing the correct way and type this:
/mvp modify destination here

Posted Jul 29, 2013I have a question...
Ok so i have a portal that goes from point A to point B, Point B lets say is a house. When the players go through Portal A i want them to go to Portal B and be facing North when they spawn, but instead they are facing South, Away from the house, so they need to turn around. Is there any way i can change the direction they spawn.

I've exhausted all my searching for an answer to why when I am going through a set of linked portals, i'm either stuck in the water that is in the portal on one, or I appear BEHIND the portal on the other.
Is there a way to control this? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.. Thanks in advance. :)

Posted Jul 29, 2013Im having the Problem where both Portals are set-up but when i try and link them, Multiverse cant find them i can select them, but when i use /mvp modify dest Portal2 it says Multiverse did not modify dest because it could not find Portal2 even though its in the list and i can select it
Am i doing something wrong or is this a Bug?
