ive came across similar issues.. my solution was to stop the server before editing the files. i found that if i edit some files before stopping/restarting, they would go back to how they were earlier Good Luck! stop the server, change prefix chat to false, start again. bam ur good :)

MCEdit is known to have a few issues, I wouldn't recommend using it.

Posted Oct 14, 2015Is there a way to do this?
I have edited a world using a program called MCEedit, but everytime i want to have that world on my server after its been edited i have to restart, and my server takes a while to restart becuase i has a lot of plugins to reload as its a public server! I tried re-importing the world (so deleting it and then importing it again) but that crashed the server as well!
Any help?

Need versions to help as well as the whole error log in a pastebin. Sounds like a versioning issue, try updating.

Not using Multiverse on it's own, I'm sure there is some way of getting this implemented in a plugin.

Posted Oct 2, 2015Is there a way to set a sort of entry cooldown per-world? I have a hardcore-style world on my server, and I'd like to limit how quickly a player can re-enter the world after dying, as a sort of temporary ban from the world.

It's what's in the API man, perhaps you should take a look at other plugins that hook into Multiverse to get a feel for it if you don't feel comfortable doing it.

You'd develop a program that uses our API. Best shot is hiring a plugin developer for that :)
