Movecraft
NOW MOVED TO SPIGOTMC, CHECK HERE FOR NEWER VERSIONS:
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/movecraft.31321/

A Brief Description
Movecraft is a plugin that has been designed to give purpose to those extremely large (and awesome) oceans as well as to simply give the option to Sail, Drive, or Pilot amazing Ships, Creations, or Zeppelins. It allows the player and/or players to craft Vessels out of blocks that can be piloted and thus moved. Hence the name MoveCraft.
Credit
Movecraft was first created by Yogoda for hMod.
Movecraft 3 is a complete recode. It's only similarity to the Movecraft of Yogada is it's name.
Documentation, Tutorials, Quick Start Guide, and Demo Videos

Also the builds on that site are more up to date than the builds on this site, so download the latest version there. Please be aware the builds on that site have not been checked by the dev.bukkit.org staff, so use at your own risk.
Here is a brief summary of Movecraft features covered on that site:
Control Method Options
- Sign and Pilot Tool
- Sign only
- Direct Control (the players movements control the craft)
- Misc Commands - /manoverboard, /release, etc
- Remote Signs to remotely activate command signs from other parts of the ship (Turn turrets, launch torpedoes, etc)
Craft Options
- Basic craft configuration options including size, speed, allowed block types, required blocks, etc
- Customizable Cruise Control to keep the craft moving forward
- Customizable Fuel Burning behavior
- Customizable sinking/crashing behavior including smoke, explosion on impact, and uncontrollable dives
- Restricting motion to horizontal or vertical planes
- Customizable "Hover" land contour following behavior for cars and surface vehicles

- Man Overboard timeout to allow anyone who falls out of a craft to get back in it
- Configurable WorldGuard protection against moving into forbidden areas or sinking over protected areas
Permissions
Movecraft uses the following permissions:
movecraft.<craft name>.pilot
movecraft.<craft name>.move
movecraft.<craft name>.rotate
movecraft.<craft name>.repair
For example, if you have a craft named "Airship", you would need movecraft.Airship.pilot, movecraft.Airship.move, and movecraft.Airship.rotate in order to completely use it.
There is also:
movecraft.<craft name>.create - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.cruisesign - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.commands - grants access to /pilot, /cruise, /release, /rotateleft, /rotateright, /craftreport
You can also control these granularly with:
movecraft.commands.release
movecraft.commands.pilot
movecraft.commands.rotateleft
movecraft.commands.rotateright
movecraft.commands.cruise
movecraft.commands.craftreport
Dependencies
Movecraft does not require any other plugin to function, however certain features require additional plugins:
WorldEdit (>6.0) - For repair system
Vault - For payment system
In addition, the following plugins are supported for compatibility:
Cannons - Cannons will move with a piloted craft
WorldGuard - Region protection
Most common permission plugins - Assign permissions to various craft features

Posted Jul 17, 2013It looks like the dispenser facing problem is probably a Bukkit problem. Using Worldedit also exhibits the same behavior, which is totally random dispenser facing after a movement or rotation. And it looks like it is still happening with both Worldedit and Movecraft with the newest version of Craftbukkit (also tried spigot), and the newest version of each respective plugin.
I would like to submit a bug report to CB, can anyone point me in the right direction to get that done? Or can anyone who already has that ability submit a bug report? In all my tests it has been highly reproducible.

Yes the /movecraft command is a module of our help plugin, not movecraft itself.
It is likely you are trying to use a version of bukkit which movecraft is incompatible with.

@lameskydiver
Movecraft has no commands. Not one.
From the text above: "To create a craft make a sign with the Craft Type in the top line, for example: Aircraft
To pilot simply right click with a stick.
To rotate create a sign with [helm] in the top line. Right clicking the sign will make a wheel, which can then be right and left clicked to rotate the craft."

Same here. Using spigot build 1031, getting response that the plugin is working in console but when trying to use it, it gives you the answer that it is not a command. BTW my plugins folder is clean, nothing installed except this.

Like the commands. It's not working at all. It says Unknown Command. Type "help" for commands of something.

Well I've done what you said at the installation but the plugin is not working. It's like the plugin wasn't installed in the my server at all.
I did copy the aicraft.craft thing by clicking 'save link as'. and then to direct to the folder. But as I said before, it's not working at all.

Posted Jul 13, 2013I think I'll need a clear instruction to install this plugin.
I placed the jar into the plugin folder, launched minecraft and see if this plugin worked, but the command is not working at all. It says like Unknown command.
And the thing about template aircraft.craft isn't very clear for me.
I would like an clear instruction for this. Like by step by step how to install this plugin.

Posted Jul 10, 2013After updating to 1.6 MoveCraft no longer seems to work. You can pilot a ship but when you right-click you will move but your craft stays in place. Is this due to the update and if it is when will the next MoveCraft update be released? Thanks for the help!

@Bkoenitzer
I am sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about.
