Movecraft
NOW MOVED TO SPIGOTMC, CHECK HERE FOR NEWER VERSIONS:
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/movecraft.31321/

A Brief Description
Movecraft is a plugin that has been designed to give purpose to those extremely large (and awesome) oceans as well as to simply give the option to Sail, Drive, or Pilot amazing Ships, Creations, or Zeppelins. It allows the player and/or players to craft Vessels out of blocks that can be piloted and thus moved. Hence the name MoveCraft.
Credit
Movecraft was first created by Yogoda for hMod.
Movecraft 3 is a complete recode. It's only similarity to the Movecraft of Yogada is it's name.
Documentation, Tutorials, Quick Start Guide, and Demo Videos
For documentation and information, use this link:

Also the builds on that site are more up to date than the builds on this site, so download the latest version there. Please be aware the builds on that site have not been checked by the dev.bukkit.org staff, so use at your own risk.
Here is a brief summary of Movecraft features covered on that site:

- Sign and Pilot Tool
- Sign only
- Direct Control (the players movements control the craft)
- Misc Commands - /manoverboard, /release, etc
- Remote Signs to remotely activate command signs from other parts of the ship (Turn turrets, launch torpedoes, etc)
Craft Options
- Basic craft configuration options including size, speed, allowed block types, required blocks, etc
- Customizable Cruise Control to keep the craft moving forward
- Customizable Fuel Burning behavior
- Customizable sinking/crashing behavior including smoke, explosion on impact, and uncontrollable dives
- Restricting motion to horizontal or vertical planes

Permissions
Movecraft uses the following permissions:
movecraft.<craft name>.pilot
movecraft.<craft name>.move
movecraft.<craft name>.rotate
movecraft.<craft name>.repair
For example, if you have a craft named "Airship", you would need movecraft.Airship.pilot, movecraft.Airship.move, and movecraft.Airship.rotate in order to completely use it.
There is also:
movecraft.<craft name>.create - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.cruisesign - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.commands - grants access to /pilot, /cruise, /release, /rotateleft, /rotateright, /craftreport
You can also control these granularly with:
movecraft.commands.release
movecraft.commands.pilot
movecraft.commands.rotateleft
movecraft.commands.rotateright
movecraft.commands.cruise
movecraft.commands.craftreport
Dependencies
Movecraft does not require any other plugin to function, however certain features require additional plugins:
WorldEdit (>6.0) - For repair system
Vault - For payment system
In addition, the following plugins are supported for compatibility:
Cannons - Cannons will move with a piloted craft
WorldGuard - Region protection
Most common permission plugins - Assign permissions to various craft features

This is often caused by a problem reading the craft files when it boots up. On startup, the plugin will report how many craft files it found, and it always assumes 1. How many did it see?

Posted Mar 8, 2014Hello yes when I try and operate an Airskiff, like in the tutorial video, nothing happens, and I get this error in the console:
7:45:19 PM CONSOLE: ERROR]: Could not pass event PlayerInteractEvent to Movecraft v3.1.44 7:45:19 PM CONSOLE: Source) [?:?] 7:45:19 PM CONSOLE: Source) [?:1.7.0] 7:45:19 PM CONSOLE: Source) [?:1.7.0]
Do you know why it would be doing this? The Helm doesn't even activate, if that helps!

Posted Mar 6, 2014@bret4o9 You can get close to that if you download the .craft files as per the quick start guide or the tutorial. You don't have to configure anything if you don't want to. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to offer download links directly on this site, but you just need to follow the links from the youtube videos as described in the quickstart guide and download the example .craft files.
@Kyurem55 Sounds like the plugin isn't even loading. You need to look at your bukkit installation and figure out why it isn't loading the plugin. Normally all you have to do is place the .jar file in your plugins directory. If that isn't working I don't know what to tell you.

Posted Mar 6, 2014can't you make it like old times just rightclick the craft with the stick and you are ready to fly. I don't like these craft types and the configorations you have to make to use the plugin.

In order to use the stick you need movecraft.(craftname).move. Also, you can change the stick to something else to avoid plugin conflicts using the PilotTool config.yml setting

It was an error in the .craft. About "it releases me" when the ship was moving, it sent the message "You left your craft, You'll be released in 15 seconds"

The max height is reached when any part of the craft is about to cross the threshold. There must be some part of your craft sticking up to 119. I'm not sure what you mean by "it releases me". Could you explain that in greater detail?

Thank you for the kind words. Hopefully we're just getting started. I've been working on this cool event / arena thing where you can grind up rating and currency to purchase airships. Its really big, so there is a lot of work to do. I have one event working now, but I want at least 3 plus the arena before I release it. So it may be a few weeks. But once its done, I think it will blow people away.

Ok, how many crafts does Movecraft say it detects when the plugin starts up. It will say this on the server console.

I downloaded a schematic from a site that I wanted to turn into a ship. Updated the Ship.craft file with everything I need and when I place the sign and try to activate it nothing happens. All of my other crafts work wonderfully.

Right, most of the options are not there by default and you will need to type them into your config.yml
@ariodsenuke
no plans to do so, I'm afraid you will have to make do with CompatibilityMode: true until your other mods are up to date.

Posted Feb 27, 2014Hi, so I don't know if I missed something or I have to do it manually somehow, but my config.yml is not generating any text whatever I do besides two lines:
" Locale: en CompatibilityMode: false"
None of the other referenced controls through the guides are in the Config, and I do not understand why they are not generating.

It does, but you will have to use CompatibilityMode: true, and you will suffer a roughly 30% loss in performance. The old 1.6.4 version doesn't support torpedoes, but the cannons I use are simply redstone controlled tnt cannons. So they would work in any version since 3.1.32
