Description:
MobDisguise is a plugin allowing you to transform into any mob you want, with no client mods! Just simple type /md disguise pig, and boom, everybody now sees and thinks your a pig! Can't quite take out the enemy pvp team? Transform into chickens, and sneak behind enemy lines! It even includes an API for other plugins to hook into, and can change players into mobs too!
Features:
- Disguise as any mob and be seen as such by all other players
- Enable or disable per-mob permissions, or give the .* permission for all of them
- Blacklist certain mobs you don't want
- Enable "RealDrops" and on death, a disguised player drops the correct item for his mob disguise, not his normal inventory
- A simple API that plugins can hook into to disguise/undisguise players
Commands:
All commands begin with /md, short for MobDisguise, to provide a simple command system
- /md baby ; toggle being a baby animal!
- /md stats ; Tells you what you're disguised or if you are disguised
- /md ; Turns you back into human form if disguised
- /md types ; Will give you a list of all valid mob types
- /md p [nameofplayer] ; Lets you disguise as that player!
- /md [mobtype] ; Will disguise you as the given mobtype
Permissions (PermissionsBukkit, bPermissions, PEX, but NOT! Permissions 3.1.6:
- mobdisguise.* ;Gives a player the ability to transform into all mobs
- mobdisguise.mob.[mobtype] ; Replace [mobtype] with the mobtype players can turn into
- mobdisguise.player ; Lets a player turn into othe players

- Q.Will you support Permissions 3.1.6?

- Q. I want to be able to have abilities when disguised, i.e creepers explode.

How to Install:
- Before installing, read the FAQ and see the page for common errors and how to fix .
- Download MobDisguise, here!
- Place .jar in your plugins folder.
- Done!

Posted Jan 10, 2012I love this plugin! It's great fun (and extremely handy!) when new people pop onto my server. I can just walk around as a cow and spy on those pesky people who you have an uneasy feeling about. The only thing I would love to see is some form of player disguise. By that, I mean I can disguise someone as...say...a cow, and they can't un-disguise themselves, nor disguise them self in the first place.

Posted Jan 9, 2012when i tried this plugin in my Tekkit server (bukkit #1597 + technic pack SMP) and every time i tried to disguise myself as a mob (monster or animal) and every single time it said that an error has occurred and in console it showed lots of text... and i did check the blacklist and everything was set to the option which allows me to do it and i did try changing it if that was the case but no it still didn't work. it was only the mob disguise that didn't work i could still disguise myself as another player can anyone help me? if required i will put pictures in.

Posted Jan 7, 2012I have a suggestion, could you make it so that you can transform into a TAMED wolf? Its kind of suspicious if a non tamed wolf follows you around, and I think it would be cool to have a friend as my wolf pet.

Posted Jan 6, 2012Hello thanks for the epic plugin could you please look into this ideas: Would be great if you can add them ;)
1)Make it so when you do ./md it takes ... seconds before you actually disguise. This so players cant go into a mob at every moment like in combat. And make also a permission to bypass the warm-up time.
2)Make a cool-down time. When players used it they have to wait ... seconds before they can use the command again. And also for this a permission node to bypass this.
3)you probably not gonna implant this but economy (essentials economy) support would be great. So players do have to pay when they change into a mob.
Well again i hope you can add this things it would be great and useful! ;)

1. (As I mentioned already) If you look up when disguised as a chicken, other players will see you looking down in stead.(Bug in Y-axis?)
2. When you use a bed while disguised as a mob, other players will get a BSC (Black Screen Crash)

Posted Jan 3, 2012Theres no way to reverse the view on the ED's? thats horrible news D: Im sure theres a part of this plugin that reads direction from the client or you wouldnt be able to see peoples head movement while in disguise it cant be that hard to reverse these values can it ? (just a suggestion) and the toggle to force player names is still a good idea imo !
Also: With spoutcraft the ability to see your own disguise would be possible. at the cost of using the client ( I bet it could fix that nasty backwards dragon issue as well).
@briman people like you make me sick :) Obviously I wasnt aware of the root of this issue.
