What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

Summary:
I want a way for players to use items to "pay" for the mob spawning.

User Experience:
(already done)Player places mob spawner
(already done)Player sets the spawner mob type with a consumable item
<NEW>Player clicks spawner with configured "charge" item.

Result:
The mob spawner will spawn 1 mob and then stop.

Player can continue to click the spawner with the charge item to apply additional "charges".  When a mob spawns it consumes 1 charge.  if the spawner has 0 charges left then no mobs spawn until additional charges are applied.

Please provide any additional information below.

I think your idea is interesting but I'm not sure it fits with the theme of my plugin. This plugin is targeted at XP grinders. In your scenario a player would need to break their grinder so they can reach the spawner. They would then punch the spawner with an item to gain access to 1 additional monster spawn. Players grinding XP wouldn't do this as they would have to constantly punch the spawner and battle inside their grinder.

I imagine this makes sense for your server but I don't think I can spend the time required for these modifications since it's an uncompelling feature for xp grinders. However, I would consider allowing players to purchase additional spawns using a command. That way they wouldn't need to break their grinder and they could purchase 'x' number of monsters at a cost. Would this be interesting to you?

I could use this via command instead of punching it with the item.

Would you consider doing an item consumed as well as money with the command?  As in an admin can configure money and/or item for adding charges.

Interesting thought. I agree with XxTRAINEExX regarding players having to break through the walls of the grinder. I could see this being very useful for my server and it would help support my server's economy.
