You need to setup a new field within the database, it will be in the guide that I will be putting up shortly. Try adding a column to the table which holds the forum groups called `servergroup`, and make its value the server group you want the people in that forum group to be synced to. It should work once you've done that.

Posted May 5, 2012The "Group-Synchronization", does this sync the forum groups to be the same as the server groups.. Or, does it sync the server groups to match the forum groups..
Other than that, it's looking to be a great plugin!

Posted May 4, 2012Also another thing I would love to see is to be able to have the console announce to all players when a user posts a new topic or replies to an exisiting topic. I am not sure how hard that would be considering it would need to be polling the database looking for new things constantly

Posted May 4, 2012I had played around with the code of the plugin and I have managed to get it to pay players based on the amount of posts they have, but I am only a beginner with java and I would think in order to only pay them for what they have posted since the last check, you would need to make a flat file or some sort of database to store the last known post count and then take or give money in relation to how much its increased or decreased since.
Also the value in the config.yml file for the amount to give in money per post has to be a integer without the '0' as it wont read it properly if its '0'

Posted May 3, 2012Been testing for a bit now, seems good so far. Works with MyBB and with custom profile fields
Problem is I cant seem to figure out how often it checks for new posts by the user and when it adds the money. I set it to add 0.50 per post but it doesnt seem to do it even after waiting for around 20 minutes
I think I may have found why its not working, when I looked in the .class files for MyBB (or any other forums for that matter) then getNewPosts() function was set to return 0; instead of looking for any new posts. Not sure if it just means its not implemented yet or not
Also id like to see that when users get money for posting in the forums, a setting in the config file to enable/disable this, but id like to send a message to the player (also defined in the config or language files) to say "You have earned $x for posting on the forums"

Posted May 3, 2012This is looking great. I used CommunityBridge for a while but it didnt really work as I wanted it to. Im currently using OKB3 which is rarely updated and documentation sucks. So this might be the perfect plugin I have been seaching for! Thanks!

Posted May 3, 2012Would love to see and use this plugin sounds like its exactly what I need
But yes removing money when posts are deleted would be great, and also allowing permissions group changing would be good. Not sure if thats what you mean by Group-Synchronization
When will this be available?

Posted May 2, 2012If you could add a feature to remove money, when the user's post is deleted... As kind of like an anti spam.
