Could you please open your jar file with an ZipProgram and look for a class called 'mybb', case-sensitive?

There is no class labled 'mybb' in matching case, only MCbb located at mcbb.jar\de\javakara\manf\mcbb\

But you know you need to add an addon in the MCbb folder?

Yes, i did so. I placed the phpBB-Forum.jar in plugins/MCbb as instructed

You need to specify phpBB instead of MyBB if you use phpBB.

@manfie: Go I did that as well. I specified phpbb in the config file. I have done everything as instructed in the install instructions.
