This is a plugin that allows you to marry in minecraft to get acces to special features.
Marriage Reloaded was coded in mc 1.2.5 and v1.0 releases on dec 21 2012
This plugin has multiple commands and it is still growing really fast, it has not been developepd for 4 months and then got picked up again, it is
completely recoded and still misses alot of features

- /marry - Shows commands, version, authors and info
- /marry <name> - Marry a player (also tracks the player if you use a part of the name)
- /marry list - Shows all married players
- /marry divorce - Divorce with your partner
- /marry tp - Teleport to your partner
- /marry gift - Gift the current item in your hand to your partner
- /marry chat - Private chat with your partner
- /marry seen - Shows partner's last login
- /marry chatspy - Spy on private messages (required marry.chatspy)

- marry.* - Allows all permissions
- marry.admin - Allows all admin commands (currently only /marry reload)
- marry.update - Shows update notifications on login
- marry.chatspy - Allows player to spy on messages
- marry.default - Allows all command but marry.reload
- marry.marry - Allows the command /marry <user>
- marry.home - Allows the command /marry home
- marry.sethome - Allows the command /marry sethome
- marry.tp - Allwos the command /marry tp
- marry.gift - Allows the command /marry gift
- marry.chat - Allows the command /marry chat
- marry.seen - Allowed the command /marry seen
By default, Marriage will check for updates from bukkitdev every 3 hours.
This feature can be disabled by setting "updater.enabled" to "false"
Anyone with the permission node marry.update will be notified of updates, and it also able to download them via /marry update.
Which again can be disabled by disabling the update-checker
This plugin utilises bStats' plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to bstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/bStats/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Jan 10, 2014Hi lenis. Thank you! It's fixed now and working as it should :) Perfect! Could you maybe implement some kind of gender Option with Prefix? See it as suggestion :D It would be nice :3! Especially when the gendersigns would work correctly! When you enter ā and ā in Notepad (or a .yml config) it will be displayed as a ? . Is there a way to make a working prefix like &f[&dā&f] what would be displayed correctly ingame? If you could implement that, i could hug you! :D
The commands could be: /marrygender male /marrygender female /marrygender unassign Players can only chose a Gender for one time. After that, the command will be blocked and they only can use /marrygender unassign to remove the prefix. if they wan't to show a Genderprefix again, they only can use the command they used first. Only Admins with a permission should be able to change the own gender and the gender of other players as often as they wan't to.
possible commands: /marrygender set male <playername> /marrygender set female <playername> /marrygender removegender <playername> (it will be a full reset, so the player can chose another gender if he wan't)

Except running outdated versions is never a good thing to do when it can be helped. What happens when the outdated version then breaks completely, or I find it starts somehow conflicting with another plugin later on because of it's out-dated status?
I really don't see how asking for this to be configurable on/off is a problem >.>

Posted Dec 11, 2013I'd actually like to have this configure-able or something? (the shit+right click kiss). I have another plugin that uses the Shift+Click just like this one does and I fear that would interfere once this updates for 1.7...
Not to mention we already use another plugin for our animation like features, so it's really not needed from this one as well.

In the config it says:
{Command name}: 0.0
What if you try replacing that with:
home: 10.0
it supports almost all commands and you can just apend them to that list.
As for the nicknames, i will add support for this in the next update if i dont fortget it.

Try to use less words next time, im quite lazy when it comes to reading.
Basicly, i just teleport a player to anorther player, its not my job to cancel this event in worldguard regions, worldguard should take care of this themselves, and i recomment contacting them.

Posted Dec 5, 2013Wonderful to see this plugin back! I was just looking for it yesterday but it was "under maintenance" or something? I suppose it was from Bukkit Dev's new policies or something. Either way, welcome back! I hope this plugin will continue to be updated and worked on through-out the Minecraft updates as it truely is the best Marriage plugin out there!
Although, it would be nice to configure more pricing options other than just the /marry <player> command. Say for example: Pricing for setting a married home, or pricing to send your partner an instant gift?
And is there a way to get the /marry chat to read nicknames from other plugins, like essentials? It doesn't seem to be. XD

If there is a parkour course, I disable all teleport and sethome commands in an attempt to keep players from cheating. However, married couples can TP to each other and bypass the WorldGuard settings because the person in the parkour does not have to issue any commands for their partner to TP to them. This would allow them to piggy-back with a safety stop for each an every jump...thus turning a very difficult challenge into an easy-to-bypass course.
Is there any way you can think of to help prevent such abuse of this plugin other than completely disabling the TP ability?
NOTE: Being able to TP to a mate without them having to send or accept a request is a nice feature I'd like to keep. I just don't know how to prevent its abuse.

Posted Dec 2, 2013I've tested Marriage 1.2.3 on CraftBukkit 1.7.2-R0.1 Build 2930 and it works for the most part. Loads in the console without error (except mentioning that kissing is disabled since it was not compiled for that version).
I have not been able to test every feature since I am testing on my PC (no other players) but the main commands seem to work just fine.
The only thing that I've found different from running on a 1.6.4 server is the "/marry chat" command says "No permission!" and the "/marry chatspy" now seems to toggle marry chat mode by saying "You have joined the partner chat!" which might be working to allow me to see all marriage chats but seems odd it would say the exact same thing the "/marry chat" would produce.
I'll report back once I get an online server up-and-running and test with multiple people.
