What is ManaBags?

ManaBags is a plugin that gives users the ability to expand on their inventory permanently with Magic Bags and Upgrades! With the power of Spout, each bag is crafted with new items and resources! Oh and a portable Crafting Table!

How does it work?

Each player has 4 Bag Slots. Each slot able to be accessed through the keys NUM 1, NUM 2, NUM 3, NUM 4. These keys are configurable!

When a player crafts a Mana Bag and uses it, it is put into the first free slot. Each Mana Bag grants one Single Chest worth of inventory space on key press and is safe from death drops.

When a player Crafts and uses a Diamond Weave Upgrade the first Slot with a Mana Bag is upgraded to a Diamond Weave Bag, granting that slot the space of a Double Chest!

Mana Chambers are double chests in 1 block that are capable of being stacked. They are impervious to explosions and Ender Dragons and look awesome! They even work with LWC!

Diamond Workbenches can be opened with Numpad 0 after they have been equipped!

Any admin wishing to enable separate bags for a specific world only needs to put the world name in the ManaBags/world.yml file. Each listed world will have a separate inventory for the players bag, not separate bag slots.

What are the recipes?

YES! Enable them in the config. The examples show you how they should be setup. ID-DATA for each item!

To see what the info on an item is, hold it in hand and use /whatisthis in game!

API?

YES! And the API is SIMPLE. Seriously can't mess this one up guys! The API also grants full NPC support!

Call,

ManaBagsAPI api = ManaBags.getManaBagsAPI();

then just do api.<whatever you need here>. It is non-static so your IDE can auto-complete. (Ease of use).

Players are saying when they die and drop items from manabags the enchanted items are no longer enchanted. Not sure if you know.

McMMO issue is because the base object is a chest now. If it remains to dupe it it should allow you to disable the duping of chests.

I have thoroughly tested /givebag and cannot replicate.

As a note, try adding -manabags.admin

I downloaded build #10 earlier today, I haven't had a chance to test 11 yet so this might already be fixed. Using mcmmo 's mining skills that gives you double drops, users could dupe chambers by breaking them with a pickaxe since the base material for it is stone I think? Not sure how exactly it worked or why it happened.

The previous two issues with lwc and not unregistering the xyz location seems fixed.

Also I did post you my full permissions file and a users in the "regular" group was able to use the /givebag command. I'm going to test build 10 and later build 11 also to see if its still happening.

Newest builds at http://ci.aesircraft.net fixes most problems that I have seen. If not get back to me and I will fix them. When it is confirmed perfect I will push it as 1.4.7

Then something is wrong with your permissions plugin because as you can see it will only do it if they have the permission. I did however find an issue for people WITHOUT permissions. Use http://ci.aesircraft.net and download Build 9. That should resolve the issue if something is wrong with your permissions system. Which then of course would raise much different questions for you.

Hey, a lot of my players are now asking for the manabags to stack the items automatically when picked up....any idea on why they aren't?

Lockette and Essentials protection and any other kind of chest protection has never been as widely used as LWC. If I change how it is done to support them then I break compatibility with the more widely used plugin.

This is why the Bukkit community sucks. Dependency Mongolian cluster $^&#. Basic functionality should always be one consolidated, centralized piece so developers are not required to "choose" what "standard" to conform to essentially alienating an entire portion of the community and ultimately fractioning the compatible software choices while dividing the community.

There is an available API for the developer to support it them selves. That is the only option beyond conforming to a more widely used plugin or disabling the feature.

It is defaulted to op and a permission. You did your permissions wrong. This is why developers tell people to use their listed permissions and not wildcards. manabags.* is not an acceptable permission. That's why it was never listed.

Uhm it seems everyone has permission to do /givebag playername.

Commands should default to OP :( Now everyone on my server has a bag and its a mess to clean up. I don't even know how I'm going to remove the bags now.

Can you look into making the mana chambers compatible with lockette or essentials protection?

I still havent tested if grief prevention protects the mana chamber. though it did act weird while inside grief prevention area and me trying to use lockette on it. It started copying itself and when removed it took bits of the area :D ill take a video at some point lol :)

I was not checking to see if the event was canceled. Now if it is it wont add it to the inventory. HOWEVER if the plugin you were talking about is not canceling the event LIKE IT SHOULD, this will not work. It should work, but if it doesnt get on them about canceling the event.
