RE-CODE IN PROGRESS!!!
Coming Soon To LevelCraft
- EXP for each level; the user will be given 1 EXP bank. They gain EXP by mining, combat, etc.. HOWEVER, unlike old levelcraft this will only add to your TOTAL Exp and not to your level EXP (Levels will no longer have EXP Data)
- Leveling Up; When a Players EXP Bar fills (this will be the EXP above the health bar) the user will "Level-Up". When a user levels up, a GUI will open and they will be able to place their SP in the skills they want.
- Credits; Like Old levelcraft, Skills can still level-up However, Skill levels will be called Skill Credits instead.
- SP (Stat Points); Each time you Level-up, you will be assigned SP to put towards Credits in other skills. Each time a player levels-up they will be given 4 SP (editable in configs).
- Skills; Like old Levelcraft, When a skill reaches a high enough level (Credit) they will unlock skills. However, Skills will now cost MP. Later I hope to find a way to make Skills Bindable to the keyboard.
- Mana Points (MP); A little scoreboard on the side of the screen will tell the users how much MP they have left. MP will be used up by Skills and can be replaced over time or by right clicking with a gold ingot in hand (heals 1,000MP)
- Renamed Levels to Classes

NOTICE
A early release of the plugin is available at any time, just send me a PM asking for it and I will send you what I have DONE (Many features may be missing).
This will be better documented in the end.

ok thanks, But I removed the plugin for now, as It was reported to be causing lag, and nocheat violations to go off like crazy (vl of 340653000 was the record 0_o)

Posted Oct 12, 2012Considering the fact that I do not have the ability to post a file on here. And I do not want to make another BukkitDev project for fear of insulting Samkio. I have placed a very alpha release on my website.
Be aware. There are lots of places where bugs can happen. I already know that Leaderboards don't work, so don't worry about telling me that. Also, there is a fairly simple setup for permissions atm. I will post them below the link.
Currently enabled skills: Combat, Crafting, Fishing, Mining, Farming, Woodcutting, Excavation

Not sure. Depends on his schedule. I would guess it will be a little bit. If it goes too much longer we will think about a preliminary release that doesn't have all the features just yet.

At this point, everything that I was assigned to do is complete. So that includes: 5 of the 13 skills, and other minor things. Agility is going to have to wait until I can figure it out. It isn't as easy as it was in previous RB's.
Right now, I am just waiting for Samkio to do whatever he needs to do and then the first version will be ready.

I compiled from your github yesterday to have a play around, but I was only loading 4 skills... something blocking the others loading, or are you only doing those 4 for the initial release?

That seems a little rude....Are you a coder, do you make plugins? It took me 4 hours just to make a plugin that used tag api to change my nametag to gold like notch's, java is not easy stuff. sorry if you were not being rude, it just seemed like a very inconsiderate comment considering these people are putting a lot of work into a plugin, that they are not getting payed to make (if you dont count donations).
