Inventory Drop Chance

(Follow me on Twitter for updates!) Inventory Drop Chance is a plugin created by Staartvin from a request by DerekZil.

Do you want to your server to be a little more RPG-ish? Are people frustrated by losing items on death? Well, then Inventory Drop Chance (IDC for short) is something for you! IDC allows admins to set a percentage of retained items on death. The retain percentage is configurable. When a player dies, x% of his/her inventory will be given back. The items that are not given back are dropped on the ground. All items get chosen randomly. This is to prevent players from cheating. You can also specify a delete percentage. IDC will then remove a percentage of the inventory (Those items aren't dropped nor given back). IDC also has custom WorldGuard flags that can be used. These flags are: 'xploss-percentage', 'retain-percentage' and 'delete-percentage'. You can also setup blacklisted or whitelist items. In short, this plugin is super customisable.

Can delete a percentage of their inventory on death.

Multiworld support
Group based (Example: Give a donor rank 20% loss, but a noob group 100% loss)
WorldGuard integration (Custom flags 'retain-percentage' and 'delete-percentage')
Whitelist and blacklists (Some items will always be dropped, some are always kept)
Automatic version checking

Permissions:

- idc.group.<groupname> A player with this permission is bound to a group. All percentages are based on a group. If a player hasn't got this permission, it will lose all their xp and items. Just like vanilla Minecraft.
-idc.keepallitems A player with this permission will retain all of his items when (s)he dies.
-idc.keepxp A player with this permission will keep all their xp.
-idc.noticeonupdate A player with this permission will get noticed when a new version of IDC is available.

Something is still wrong with this plugin, maybe as you told me last time it could be a compatibility issue?

I'm completely sure this isn't working how it should on my server :S

Also, I think when they were dying it wasn't even dropping their items, or keeping them, when they didn't have perms to keep or delete them. It may only happen when dying from random things (lightning, etc), or it happened no matter what, not sure.

the permissions to keep all works fine for me .. so far the only problem I am having is the deleted items to be set at 1%+ in order to keep your "kept" items.

Well when I had perms to keep all my stuff, when I died, my hotbar and armor werent effected, but my actual inventory had DELETED, not dropped.

Does anyone know another plugin that has theses features with % drop but works well and is supported? Cause we're getting no response and this is a big need for my server.

Now that the configuration changed and it's slightly complex I'd suggest posting here an extended guide about config file and how to setup it properly to avoid runtime errors.

Could you please add to the config the option to dont drop the armor, even if the armor pieces are in the black list? Like, just drop armor if this is not equipped.

It is severe but luckily it won't crash the server in any case. Plugin seems to work "almost" correctly anyways. Just a little more fixing and here we go, a great plugin.
