Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).
Upcoming Features:
- IDK, ask and I might add!
- Pre-Defined Custom Mobs?
Problems?
If you have a problem please create a ticket and include the error (If there was one) and a link to a paste-bin of your config.
If you just post the error in the comments section or PM me I might not see it. Thanks.

Yes, 100% means it happens 100% of the time. AKA Always..
Being able to decide if certain items drop Always and some items only drop Sometimes, would be lovely.
Some of us, would like to be able to have Infernals drop something like "gunpowder" every time and then have a chance to drop something extra, like a diamond, armor, or weapon.
So...
Gunpowder: 100% (Always)
Diamond: 5% (sometimes)
Armor & Weapon: follow default (1 in 5 chance for example)

Yes, all potion effect items.
I also am adding it so you can attach effects to weapons so they do the effect when you attack someone.
And there will be attack boost items that will effect all attacks even if your not actual fighting with the item specificly.

What about sword, axes and bow? Are they limited to the hotbar? Please say yes:D

I changed it so the items must be in the armour slots or the hot bar to give the potion effect.
Technically players can put armour in their hot bar to get the effects, but then it will block slots needed for food, potions, weapons torches, ect.

Again, is there anyway to use potion effects on ARMOR, and make the players wearing the armors in the armor slot before they are given the effects:D

I don't fully get your suggestion, if an item is 100% would it drop all the time? or just have a high chance?

That was exactly what I was looking for. I guess I'm not the only one with a similar need of the percentage drop addition.
+1 on that suggestion

Yes if you simply add the commands: to a drop it should work fine.

Posted May 14, 2014Might I suggest creating separate pages for the different things? Getting quite long and hard to locate exactly what I'm looking for. xD
An FAQ would be great for those "What does X do" or "How do I?" questions. :P
It'd be nice to know all the Variables we can use in the plugin too...
Like "player" I'm not sure if it should be player or <player>, and in your loot list I see <itemname>? What is that?
I would appreciate a little more explanation and how-to, to make the most of your awesome plugin! If you wouldn't mind.. I really hate to have to keep asking all the time.
Anyway, here's mine..
Is there a way to tie a command in with an item drop? I noticed you have a /give example as a command to run, but the problem with that is, on full inventories the items don't drop on the ground, they are just lost.
So instead I want to make these items drop like normal, but with a command notice to the player that they have.
Also, suggestion:
Perhaps making it configurable to set each reward as a percent chance if desired. Otherwise would be obeying the default drop chance you have there already.
This way some items could be 100% and others could be only sometimes if so chosen.

To make drops more common just add them twice.

Posted May 14, 2014@jacob_vejvoda Didn't see it listed, but how would I go about setting item rates? I want some items to drop 100% and others to drop extremely rarely (0.01%). How would I do that?
Is the dropChance setting in config.yml the main one that decides ALL drop rates? I don't see chance being used in your default loot.yml for version 3 but in the version 2.8, it was only used for the chance of enchantments being on an item.
