Disclaimer: Headshot implements Gravity's Updater, which is used for updating the plugin automatically. If you don't want to have the plugin updated automatically, set 'auto-update' to false in the configuration file. Additionally, Headshot uses MCStats to collect anonymous statistics about the kinds of servers running the plugin. All of these statistics can be found here. This can be disabled by setting 'opt-out' to true in the 'plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml' file.

I'll put that on the to-do list as well.
@janie177
No, I haven't, just as I haven't abandoned any of my other plugins. An update was planned and didn't happen, unfortunately. Since then, I've just been busy with other things. Rest assured, I will update all of my plugins eventually. I'll be sure to make the wait worth your while, too.

Posted Sep 28, 2013Hoot, have you completely abandoned Geometric magic? And don't you look at that page at all? Because you did promise an update and suddenly you vanish. If you don't feel like updating it, please just say so. That's better than keeping false hope up.

Posted Sep 18, 2013Cool plugin.
Is there any way to give arrows a particle effect when they reach a certain distance? Ex: When arrows reach 5 blocks they leave a flame particle trail behind them.

Arms are a bit tricky for hitboxes (I've tried before), so I'm holding out on those until I have the free time to figure out how to implement them properly. As for swords, I feel that it wouldn't really fit the theme of the whole 'Headshot' plugin. If you really need that for whatever reason, however, shoot me a PM. I'll see what I can do.

Posted Sep 16, 2013Hit legs = Slowness.
Hit arms = Weakness
Hit chest = wither (very short amount of time)
If possible, add it for swords (effects don't happen as much)

Posted Sep 15, 2013Suggestion: Make other areas also have special effects that can be applied. Legs/Arms etc. The plugin AdvancedHeadshot has all of this but a more in depth approach would be good, and AdvancedHeadshot is outdated :/.

Note: Please delete your config and allow it to regenerate to have the distance displayed in the death message.

I haven't given up on Merlin. It's been a really busy summer. I thought I would have some free time after I finished my exams, but it turned out to be the opposite. I'm sorry I haven't emailed you about it.
Anyway, I'm back on my regular routine now, so I should be able to spend some time doing everything I've neglected for the past few months (updating my other plugins, mostly). That includes Merlin.

Why not simply disable PvP in certain areas?
