HCC - Holographic Chat Captions
It is with great regret, that I feel like I cannot achieve a movable tag that follows the players head. As a result, this project will be left at this stage with the possibility of future updates. This decision has been made by me as I feel I cannot add the respective function without using an API. (Which is what I wanted to avoid) I recommend that in the meantime you download HoloApi or SpeechBubbles to achieve a moving chat caption. I will use this time to try and work on this in my spare time. Maybe, adding Spout support too. HCC may be re-released sometime soon if I manage to code a moving chat tag. Thanks, creepers84.

Posted Mar 3, 2014I feel like the thing needs to go a bit higher above the players head, and follow the player around when they move, and not last as long.

A "how it works" section would be great to have.
I presume you've set it up so that the invisible-named entity rides the player, right? (I can't see why that wouldn't work.)

Posted Mar 2, 2014Nice idea although here are some improvements which could be made in my opinion:
Holograms follow the player and when spawned are not inside their head
When chatting the chat messages get stacked on top of eachother like: Hey Mitch! How you doing? Same here!
Then they'd gradually go away.

Is the duration of the holo-chat configurable?
Also would be cool if the holo-chat disappears as soon as the player sends out another chat message, so it would not clutter?
